Hao Ren had Lily and the others stay in the central hall to chat with the Firstborn for a while, while he and Vivian headed to another nearby section.
They crossed a crystal bridge layered with heavy security barriers. At the end, a translucent membrane of light blocked off the area ahead. The Guardian Giant they had captured in Horleta lived here, half a prisoner.

Hao Ren smiled. "What are you worried about?"
"We don't know how much of the giant's anger has faded. He might not have calmed down at all. What if he not only tells the Firstborn all about the Goddess's fall, but also stirs up its hatred?" Vivian was puzzled. "How can you be so sure?"
"Because that was his mother's dying wish." Hao Ren nodded firmly. "There's no more effective oath than that."
Vivian fell silent for a moment, then nodded without a word. The Guardians' loyalty to the Creation Goddess was beyond question.
After entering the hall, the two saw the giant sitting in a corner of the room. Several holographic projections floated around him, while huge containers had been neatly arranged across the floor nearby, each filled with various flowers and plants.
