Although it sounded a little harsh, Hao Ren sincerely felt that Vivian was the most versatile member of the group of demons and monsters in his household. Lily could only do heavy lifting (and she wasn't necessarily reliable at that), May only knew how to wash things, Old King was useful only when the gas cylinder ran out, and Roll... The others immediately found protrusions on the nearby bulkhead to anchor themselves to, or simply ran out onto the ramp. Hao Ren, meanwhile, grabbed the cut-open steel framework behind Vivian and firmly held her arm with his other hand, preventing the airflow that might blast out when the hatch opened from sending them flying.
