Background / History

Qin Siyu is Qin Buyi's daughter and grew up alongside Jiang Hou after Qin Buyi adopted him following the death of Jiang Hou's parents. She is one month younger than him, and their familiar, caring relationship is established early in the story. 3

For more than a decade, she believed her mother, Natalie, had abandoned the family. Qin Buyi later reveals that Natalie returned to her Transcendent family in Nanshan Country to keep Qin Siyu’s existence hidden: the Songmu Weimeng Family could have forced her to receive a dangerous “blessing” involving pollution, with a high risk of becoming a monster. 93

Before awakening, Qin Siyu lives as an ordinary student, makes videos with friends, and cares for Scarlet Eye. Shen Gong Feirou gives her a Divine Source bead, after which Qin Siyu gradually develops unusual signs and begins attracting attention from Transcendents. 75 122 127 130

She awakens as an Innate Esper during the growing instability surrounding Wing City. Her Lawful Utterance becomes an exceptional support ability for Jiang Hou, though the exertion leaves her exhausted and requires recovery time. 137 150

Later, Qin Siyu travels to Nanshan Country with Qin Buyi and reunites with Natalie after more than ten years apart. 151 157 As her Word Spirit Power develops through scripture recitation, she unlocks multiple abilities and eventually awakens a complete Immortal Devil inheritance. 284 301 316 330

Qin Siyu is initially described as a delicate, youthful girl with blue eyes, refined features, and a well-proportioned figure. Following her awakening and continued exposure to Transcendent energy, her appearance becomes increasingly sacred and otherworldly. 36 262

Qin Siyu is caring, warm, and openly attentive toward the people around her. She worries over Jiang Hou’s safety, looks after Scarlet Eye, and helps Shen Gong Feirou make videos because she wants her shy friend to become more confident. 34 102 121

She is also trusting and cooperative with Jiang Hou, readily using her abilities to support him even when the effort exhausts her. At the same time, she is not passive: she firmly rejects an offer from Wind and Cloud Group to train her as a star. 137 130

Despite recognizing that Jiang Hou and Scarlet Eye keep dangerous secrets, she accepts that some knowledge could endanger her and does not press Jiang Hou for answers. 260
