Background / History

Jiang Hou first gains the Gibbon Ape bloodline after a blood array on a giant skeleton heals his fatal wound. His Giant Beast form initially stands five meters tall and is driven by the rage-amplifying Wrathful Roar talent. Its defining advantage, however, is Devouring Evolution: every Ferocious Beast it consumes can be converted into growth and evolutionary potential 1 2.

After reaching the growth limit of its ordinary bloodline, the Giant Ape evolves into the Black Armored Gibbon Ape. This first evolution replaces its vulnerable body with scales and carapace-like armor, grants it astral qi, and raises it to the Fourth Order. It immediately demonstrates the new form's superiority by defeating four Third Order Ferocious Beasts and their Third Order Peak Wolf King 23 24.

The ape progressively integrates powers from several eras and bloodlines. Demonization transforms it into the Dark Armor Sky Piercing Giant Ape and grants the Sky Piercing Demon Ape Demon Soul; Deification later adds Life Force and innate divine abilities. Personality

The Giant Ape retains Jiang Hou's human intelligence, allowing it to analyze opponents, exploit positioning, and plan around stronger enemies rather than fighting solely on instinct. It defeats the faster Black Armor Ferocious Beast by attacking while it is airborne and unable to change direction 20.

Its behavior is nevertheless strongly shaped by Giant Beast instincts. Fatal threats trigger intense anger, bloodshot eyes, and a desire to overwhelm enemies through direct violence. After combat, it is often driven by extreme hunger to consume its kills, treating powerful Ferocious Beasts as both threats and resources 19 20 23.

Despite its ferocity, it is cautious in unfamiliar territory.
