Background / History

Jiang Hou recalls being reborn and having to gradually accept a new family with the mind of an adult. When he was seven, he witnessed a truck crash into his family’s car, killing his parents. Qin Buyi subsequently adopted him, and he grew up alongside Qin Siyu. 3 58

For years, Jiang Hou believed the deaths were an accident. While investigating his family’s past in Demon Sea City, he discovers maternal relatives Wang Hongbin and Wang Yanfeng, uncovers their connections to criminal and research-institute affairs, and learns that the crash was orchestrated because Situ Hong’s wife was jealous of his mother Wang Jiaqi’s beauty. 158 159 168 180
