"Raikage, watch your words!"
Earth Shadow Ōnoki turned his head in displeasure. Deidara becoming a missing-nin was one of his greatest regrets.
Deidara was only a few years older than Naruto, Sasuke, and the others, and he had been a junior whom Ōnoki thought highly of. He had even taken him as a disciple and personally trained him alongside Kurotsuchi. The meaning behind that was obvious enough.
Yet the genius Deidara had suddenly become a missing-nin. The whole affair had seemed suspicious and unsettling to Ōnoki from the very beginning, and he had never been able to let it go all these years.
Ōnoki was extremely displeased, but A, the Raikage, showed no intention of stopping. He still wanted to make an issue of it. How could he possibly let things end here?
Speaking of which, Kumogakure had arguably the best atmosphere among all the villages in the Shinobi World. The entire village was remarkably united, and it had produced almost no notorious high-ranking missing-nin. That was something Kumogakure was immensely proud of.
"Raikage, that's enough!"
Tsunade suddenly spoke up. Mei Terumi and Pakura also looked toward A, the Raikage at the same time. Under the gazes of three extraordinarily powerful women, A felt considerable pressure and could only swallow the rest of his words.
It was not only Iwagakure that had produced a missing-nin. Konoha, Sunagakure, and Kirigakure had not been spared either. All of them had powerful S-Rank missing-nin join the Akatsuki. On this matter, their position was the same as Ōnoki's. They were all extremely displeased with A's tone and even less willing to let him continue making an issue of it.
Knock, knock, knock...
Just as the Kage's conversation seemed to have reached an impasse, knocking suddenly sounded from outside the door. Everyone turned their heads
