When Qi Bei returned to the Nord Family mansion, he heard that the Feng Family's eldest daughter, Feng Ruoyun, and second daughter, Feng Ruoyu, had come to visit.

Passing through the long corridor, before even reaching the reception hall, he heard Raymond Nord's hearty laughter.

Since the Feng sisters didn't have any elder relatives accompanying them, this was considered a visit from the younger generation. The old master wouldn't show himself, so Raymond Nord, his future father-in-law, would naturally receive them.

Entering the reception hall, Qi Bei's eyes lit up as he took in the two beautiful young women, one older and one younger, seated as guests.

He figured the girl around seventeen or eighteen was his future sister-in-law, Feng Ruoyun. She was incredibly beautiful, with a graceful and serene demeanor. The wisdom in her pair of brown eyes sparkled.

The other young woman, perhaps more accurately called a girl, looked only twelve or thirteen. Her body hadn't fully developed yet, but her features were as exquisite as a porcelain doll's. Her lake-green eyes blinked rapidly, with flashes of cunning appearing now and then. It wasn't hard to imagine that in a few years, she would be another beauty capable of toppling nations.

"Father," Qi Bei greeted Raymond Nord, who looked as if he were about to embrace his grandson. He then walked over to the sisters and said to Feng Ruoyun with a smile, "I am Qi Bei. Sister-in-law, please take good care of me."

Despite her exceptional intelligence, Feng Ruoyun was still a maiden. Her pretty face instantly turned crimson.

"Qi Bei, don't be rude," Raymond Nord reprimanded. This kid was always so ill-mannered.

"Uncle, it's alright. If nothing unexpected happens, I will indeed be worthy of being called sister-in-law," Feng Ruoyun said after her shyness subsided.

Raymond Nord couldn't stop smiling. He had heard before that Feng Ruoyun seemed somewhat reluctant, but now that she had stated her position, her marriage to Huai'an was as good as sealed.

"Little sister, you must be Feng Ruoyu. Brother will protect you from now on. If anyone bullies you, I'll beat them up," Qi Bei told the cunning and lively Feng Ruoyu.

"If Marquis Lanling bullies me, will you beat him up?" Feng Ruoyu asked, her large eyes blinking innocently.

Qi Bei froze for a moment, then burst into laughter. "So you saw that? No problem, I'll beat that old rabbit into a dead rabbit."

"Yay! You said it!" Feng Ruoyu jumped up and patted Qi Bei's shoulder, her large eyes darting around, as if plotting something.

Qi Bei's body instantly stiffened, and he stared blankly at Feng Ruoyu.

"Hey, why are you looking at me? Are you regretting it already?" Feng Ruoyu asked.

A wry smile touched Qi Bei's lips. Had his luck finally turned? Another exceptional Yin Body. When Feng Ruoyu touched him, he clearly felt the Dragon Imprint on his left palm burning intensely. This indicated that this little girl, who could only be called a loli, possessed the perfect Yin Body needed to temper his Extreme Yang Fire.

But the problem was, was she twelve or thirteen? Although her face was incredibly exquisite, she was neither busty nor curvaceous, which was quite perplexing.

Just as Qi Bei's thoughts were in turmoil, Huai'an Nord, clad in armor, strode in. His tiger-like eyes immediately locked onto Feng Ruoyun.

"Huai'an, you entertain the Feng family's young lady. Your father has matters to attend to," Raymond Nord said with a light cough. After exchanging pleasantries with the Feng sisters, he departed.

Seeing his elder brother's ardent gaze and Feng Ruoyun's shy expression, as if she were both pleased and bashful, Qi Bei knew there was mutual affection between them.

"Girl, have some sense, let's go," Qi Bei said, pulling Feng Ruoyu's small hand without further ado, and they left.

Following Qi Bei, Feng Ruoyu looked around curiously with her big eyes as they walked through the heavily guarded Nord Family compound.

"Qi Bei, I didn't expect you to actually return alive from the Undead Mountain Range. You really have good luck," a voice called out at that moment.

Qi Bei turned his head and saw a young man in the Nord Military Academy uniform and a thirteen or fourteen-year-old boy looking at him with hostility.

"Scram," Qi Bei spat out one word and continued pulling Feng Ruoyu forward.

"You trash, what are you being so arrogant for?" the boy, slightly younger than Qi Bei, cursed angrily.

Qi Bei's footsteps halted. He suddenly turned back, took two steps to the front of the boy, and slapped him.

"How dare you!" The youth beside the boy raised his hand and lightning-fastly grabbed Qi Bei's outstretched hand.

With a "slap," the boy screamed and flew backward. As he got up from the ground, he spat out two bloody teeth, his handsome face swollen like a mountain.

The youth beside him looked shocked. He hadn't managed to stop Qi Bei; this was impossible. He was an intermediate warrior, while Qi Bei was a completely useless weakling.

"A bastard son dares to insult a legitimate heir. Let alone slapping you, I could cripple you and no one would say anything," Qi Bei said coldly. He then turned his gaze to the youth beside him, patted his straight academy uniform, and said, "Tell Will Nord, if he has the guts, don't send two idiots like you to test me. Let him come himself. Considering his age, I won't go too hard on him."

Until Qi Bei and Feng Ruoyu disappeared from sight, the youth and the boy stood there dumbfounded.

Both were bastard sons within the Nord Family. In the Nord Family, bastard sons usually attached themselves to legitimate heirs in hopes of achieving prominence.

These two were followers of the second son, Will Nord. Will Nord's father was Qi Bei's third uncle, Sico Nord, who was vying with Qi Bei's father, Raymond Nord, for the next family patriarch's scepter.

According to Nord Family rules, as soon as the current patriarch, Cody Nord, stepped down, the Nord Family's eldest legitimate son, Qi Bei's uncle, would inherit the position of patriarch.

The power within the Nord Family would then be redistributed. The older generation would retire to the Elder Council, and the new power structure would be selected from Raymond Nord's generation.

Below the patriarch, the most powerful position was the head of the judicial court. Currently, the hottest candidates for this position were Sico Nord and Raymond Nord, leading to constant friction between their juniors.

Sico Nord's eldest son, Will Nord, Huai'an Nord, and the eldest son of Qi Bei's uncle, Mio Nord, were known as the Nord Three Prodigies, the three most outstanding legitimate disciples of the younger generation.

Among them, Will Nord and Huai'an Nord were both advanced warriors, while Mio Nord was already a renowned Water Mage.

"Qi Bei, can you tell me what happened in the Undead Mountain Range? You looked really powerful when you fought," Feng Ruoyu asked expectantly.

"Call me 'brother.' Don't be so impolite," Qi Bei said, pinching Feng Ruoyu's nose with a smile.

"Let go! My nose is going to fall off," Feng Ruoyu exclaimed.

"Call me 'brother' and I'll let go," Qi Bei said with a wicked grin. The Dragon Imprint was silently planted into the little loli's soul.

A loli is a loli. In two or three years, she'll grow up, right? Strike first to avoid being snatched away.

"Brother, big brother," Feng Ruoyu said, her voice muffled as her nose was pinched, making her sound even more adorable.

Qi Bei let go, not missing the flash of cunning in the little girl's eyes. Anyone who truly took her for a fool would probably end up selling her and then helping her count the money.
