Fighting the Four Great Evils Alone

Qin Shuang inwardly lamented his missed opportunity. He no longer pretended to be poisoned and leaped towards Helian Tieshu, determined to strike the leader first.

A figure emerged from the crowd and surrounded Qin Shuang. It was the other conspicuous individuals.

From their attire and weapons, Qin Shuang had already guessed their identities: the infamous Four Great Evils.

The leader, "Villainy Reaches the Brim" Duan Yanqing; the second, "Does All Evil" Ye Erniang; the third, "Fierce God and Evil Spirit" Yue Canglong; and the fourth, "Extremely Fierce and Evil" Yun Zhonghe.

Duan Yanqing was originally the crown prince of Dali Kingdom, a small southern nation. However, he was framed by the treacherous minister Yang Yizhen, who rebelled, causing Duan Yanqing to be poisoned and rendered mute. Although he narrowly escaped death, his severe injuries left his legs crippled.

Yet, with astonishing willpower, he diligently practiced his family's martial art, the Duan Family's One Yang Finger. Finally, despite his disability, he successfully entered the Innate Realm, a level most martial artists could only dream of reaching in their lifetime. He also painstakingly practiced Ventriloquism, overcoming the disadvantage of being unable to communicate.
