White Tiger Thor, Traveling to Another World

In Chen Tian's consciousness, two cards appeared. One depicted a fierce giant beast! Its entire body was snow-white, and a faint "king" character could be seen on its forehead!

Bloodthirsty energy surrounded its whole body, and its desire to slay heaven and earth was boundless!!

This was none other than one of the Four Divine Beasts—the White Tiger!!

The White Tiger was the divine beast of the West, guarding the West. Together with the Azure Dragon of the East, the Southern Vermillion Bird, and the Northern Black Tortoise, it was revered as one of the Four Divine Beasts.

In traditional historical culture, it was one of the four symbols of the Western Seven Star Lords of Taoism. According to the Five Elements Theory, it was the spirit beast representing the West. Since the West belonged to metal and its color was white, it was called the White Tiger. Its corresponding season was autumn.

The others were the Azure Dragon of the East, representing spring; the Vermillion Bird of the South, representing summer; and the Northern Black Tortoise, representing winter. The Western Seven Mansions of the Twenty-Eight Mansions—Kui, Lou, Wei, Mao, Bi, Zi, and Shen—took the form of a tiger, were located in the West, belonged to metal, presided over the Law of Slaughter, and were white in color. Thus, they were called the White Tiger.

The other card depicted a half-human, half-beast figure. It had a human head, but its body was like that of a snake. Yet, upon closer inspection, its scales were crystalline and translucent, while also incredibly hard!

This was a dragon-bodied, human-headed creature!! One of the more bizarre divine beasts in the Classic of Mountains and Seas!
