Aozaki Touko explained that she wanted to preserve her humanity and love for her family, while Gorgon tried to shake Illya and Aozaki Ritsuka’s faith in their mother. Illya stood up to Gorgon, but the chapter ended with Gorgon petrifying her and hurling her into the ruins.
Illya broke free of Gorgon's petrification and unleashed a rampaging power tied to the Life Tree, forcing everyone to retreat as she attacked Gorgon. The survivors learned that Illya would lose her rationality, and Aozaki Aoko admitted she had not studied the Life Tree power enough to know how to stop her.
Illya lost control after defeating Gonggu, transformed into a radiant humanoid form, and destroyed Nippur City before flying toward Tiamat. The chapter then shifted to Illya waking in a flower-covered plain, where Root Shiki Mommy introduced herself.
Illya met Root Shiki in a lucid dream and learned that she needed to find a strong belief within herself to resist her Origin Impulse. After realizing her fear of hurting her family was what had briefly kept her in control, Illya asked Root Shiki to send her to Touko before she returned to the Singular Point.
In Uruk, Illya’s apparent self-destruction and failure to answer a summoning raised fears that something had gone wrong. On Mars, Kakine Teitoku defeated the Sixth Disaster’s true body, but found humanity nearly extinct and himself transformed into Dark Matter.
Aleister sent Kamijo Touma through Imagine Breaker’s world backup to change the past as the Beast of 666 threatened the survivors. Touma landed in the River Thames, where a silver-haired angel rescued him.
Kamijo Touma woke in Laura’s clinic after Illya injured his waist, and Laura tried to use an enormous medical bill to recruit Illya into the Church of England. Illya’s claim that Aozaki Touko was her mother stalled Laura, while Kamijo revealed that he had returned from a bleak future to stop Ivy from destroying the world.
Kamijo Touma told Laura about the future, while Illya struggled to prove she was Aozaki Touko’s daughter and was made to work off a debt. After Illya’s arrival forced Touko to accelerate her ascension, Touko gained knowledge of the Root and a power beyond that of a Magic God.
Aozaki Touko offered the Demon Gods a way to reach a new world in exchange for their power to reshape the world. Meanwhile, Illya’s glowing relief work drew attention, and Anisha Marshall led Illya and Kamijo Touma toward Ivy after revealing she had orchestrated their meeting.
Aozaki Touko reunited with Illya and agreed to return home with her after finishing one last task. She then explained that she and the Magic Gods planned to borrow a backup of Kamijo Touma’s right hand to create Demon God Paradise, a world capable of entertaining them and withstanding their power.
Othinus destroyed the world, and Aozaki Touko repeatedly restored and destroyed it while tormenting Laura with the cycle. In a separate conversation, Coronzon questioned an omnipotent God who kept creating and destroying worlds, suggesting that omniscience had killed God's former human side.
After the world was recreated as a multiverse, Misaka Mikoto and Kamijo Touma returned to ordinary life with memories of the Ten Calamities. Aleister learned that Demon Gods could now enter the world at full strength, then reunited with his resurrected daughter Lilith.
Laura revealed that she had become an angel, while Aozaki Touko prepared to leave the world and said farewell to Othinus and Laura. She later appeared before Kamijo Touma and Index, who were discussing Index’s grimoires, and told them that the people chasing Index should stop.
Aozaki Touko offered Kamijo Touma a wish, and he asked her to erase his misfortune before regretting that he had not wished for more. A year later, Touko reunited with Shokuhou Misaki and showed her photographs of their possible future, leaving Misaki stunned by an image of herself pregnant.
Alester abandoned his campaign against the Magic Gods after his daughter was resurrected, while the displaced Magic Gods settled into a new world. Back in Uruk, Aozaki Ritsuka realized Aozaki Touko had returned and that her power might turn the desperate battle against Tiamat.
Aozaki Touko and Illya briefly stopped time to reunite with Ritsuka and explain the power Touko had given her. After they left, Ritsuka overwhelmed the Lahmu on the battlefield and took charge against Tiamat.
After defeating Goetia, Aozaki Ritsuka’s power saved his fading consciousness, and he was reborn as an infant for Roman to raise. Aozaki Touko returned to Irisviel and planned to enjoy life before pursuing another world with her.
Aozaki Touko returned home and reunited with Irisviel and Illya after Ritsuka defeated Goetia, then invited her many loved ones to dinner in Fuyuki City. She left her parents out of the gathering and promised to visit them the next day.
