Wanda's hand was not gently knocked aside; it nearly got severed in the dimensional rift. Rubbing her injured hand, she shot an unhappy look at the man beside her.
"Looks like you're the one being disliked. It's not my fault. Magic doesn't welcome you. Your condition is even worse than those without any magical talent."
The Kryptonian's lips twitched as he forced out an awkward smile, veins bulging on his forehead from holding back his frustration. "So if I smash this wall, can I get to the other side?"
"If you do that, you'll probably just punch a hole through one of your own building's load-bearing walls. You won't be going anywhere."
"Good job," Henry ground out through clenched teeth. Still, he gave up arguing with the chaos god. It wasn't as though he had some deep grudge against Chi.
Giving up on reasoning with a dimensional demon god he could not even see, Henry turned toward his new tenant. "Ms. Maximoff, I'm curious. What made you suddenly decide to move to New York?"
"Isn't it thanks to you?"

After closing the door, Wanda sauntered behind the counter with a captivating sway. Leaning against it, she made the ornaments on her body jingle softly. There was no particularly stunning scenery in sight, but her bright eyes were just as alluring.
"I got a new little sister, and she's so adorable. Do you think Quicksilver can take proper care of her? He can barely take care of himself." Great, another sister-obsessed maniac. It was easy to imagine that Lorna and Dane would probably be spoiled rotten.
