As for there being no hidden Vampire agents within the U.S. government, Blade receiving a fair trial, going to prison, and serving the punishment he deserved... Abigail felt that even if her head got caught in a door, she still would not be able to believe such a thing.
After hanging up, she tossed the phone back to Black Super. "I know what the old man's asking for. Do you have anything else?" Abigail holstered her gun, and the gesture reassured her companions enough for them to put away their own weapons.
Black Super caught the phone but did not put away the anonymous prepaid cell phone. Instead, he set it on the table. "Keep it. At least if you need to contact old Whistler, you'll know which number to call."
The man who had reacted the fastest and been the first to notice Black Super had put away his weapon and lowered his guard. Naturally friendly, he stepped forward and asked, "Hannibal King, that's my name. And you, buddy?"
