To help Abraham Whistler get in touch with Police Commissioner George Stacy, Henry Brown naturally had to make a personal appearance.
His face had already been exposed when he first brought Whistler to New York and sent him to Metropolitan Hospital. So Henry did not mind showing his real face. He had only continued using the identity of Black Super when dealing with him out of habit, and because Mutual Aid Society assassins were around.
The two arranged to meet outside police headquarters. The old vampire hunter was still dressed in his usual loose clothing that allowed for easy movement. Fortunately, he had at least tidied himself up rather than meeting a stranger looking like a complete mess.
Since Gwen was not with him, Henry could not exactly barge into the commissioner's office. Instead, he went through the office secretary properly and waited for a meeting.
Whether the name "Henry Brown" carried enough weight or the commissioner happened to be free, Henry and Whistler were brought into the commissioner's office after only a short wait.
As the head of the NYPD, George had a small reception room and comfortable sofas in his office, so there was no need to go elsewhere. However, another guest of George Stacy's had not yet left when they entered.
"Commissioner, Mr. Brown and Mr. Whistler have arrived," the secretary said after knocking.
Ignoring his original guest, George Stacy rose to welcome them. "Henry, you're here."
"Good day, George. Am I interrupting the two of you?" After greeting him, Henry looked at the police commissioner's guest and froze. The familiar woman in a light gray bodycon suit rose gracefully. George Stacy naturally introduced her. "This is the FBI senior agent I 'don't know,' Ms. Barbara Morse."
The deliberate emphasis on "don't know" meant that George Stacy
