"No, those creatures are too good at hiding. Unless they come out on their own, we can't track them down at all," Skye complained over her headset as she sat in a cluttered room, using her computer to hack into New York City's surveillance cameras.

"Has anyone else found anything?" Anya Corazon asked.

"No, Spider Silva, you're the only one who's found anything tonight. Aside from some street punk stealing an old lady's handbag, I haven't run into any crime at all. Spider-Man's been hitting them too hard lately. Everyone's had the sense to lie low."

Mattie Franklin's complaints came through Anya's headset. As though she still hadn't gotten enough off her chest, Black-Bar Girl continued:

"But Watchtower, why did you give us all color-based code names?"

"Spider Silva, Spider Black, Spider Blue. Did you just name us after the colors of our outfits? That's way too lazy."

Skye, who had spent time living in the sewers, could hold her own in an argument even against Mattie's racial talent for it. "Haven't you watched Power Rangers? Isn't naming people after their outfit colors perfectly normal?"

"The main problem is that there are too many of you. Madame Web, Spider-Woman, Spider-Girl—what are we supposed to call the last one? Spider Bitch?"

Mattie immediately chimed in. "Spider Bitch sounds good. I'll take it. As for Spider-Woman and Spider-Girl, you two can decide who wants which."
