Henry had no idea what kind of data a brainwave collector could gather from a Symbiote in its primitive slime-mold state. Still, it was better than doing nothing and staring blankly while agonizing over whether he should put himself on the line and let the Symbiote parasitize him.
Even if the artificial intelligence ultimately failed to translate the Symbiote language, or if Symbiotes in their slime-mold state could not speak or think at all and thus produced no brainwave fluctuations resembling those of a brain, having data was still better than having none. He could think of another way to communicate later.
The two Eternals bigwigs and Cassandra had lived longer than Henry's two lifetimes combined, so there was no need for him to worry about them. As long as they did not expose his secret base, they could use the place however they liked.
When the Kryptonian returned home, Katharine Hepburn greeted him. "Henry, how is George's injury?"
When the old lady had first taken Kitty out, the still-unaccustomed visitors to Central Park in New York had called the police from time to time. After dealing with them for so long, she had naturally become familiar with the officers in the precinct.

Henry confidently assured her, "Don't worry. George is fine. As long as he doesn't get shot tomorrow, he can still run around for another thirty years."
Coming from the Kryptonian, who had been the attending surgeon and had checked on George after the operation, those words carried considerable authority.
"What about Gwen?" Katharine Hepburn asked about the other girl.
