Close-quarters combat
Fortunately, the Nemesis, controlled by the implanted chip, wasn't powerful enough to deal with two enemies from different directions at once. The Monster's focus remained solely on Alice.
So the neglected Green Arrow Duck managed to get close to the Nemesis and "saw" the ugly Monster. It also noticed that the clothes it was wearing were not ordinary clothes for covering its body.
Armor plates were embedded in a location that did not impede movement. The restraint suit, possibly made of Kevlar, tightly wrapped the Monster body with its ever-expanding cells, binding it into a shape that appeared relatively normal.
Despite his imposing stature of over two meters, he still exudes a strong sense of oppression.
One byproduct of this restraint suit was that it significantly increased the defensive capabilities of the Nemesis. Unfortunately, the trouble that Green Arrow Duck originally didn't want to happen has now become a reality.
The rotary machine gun on the Duck Butt was also unleashing a barrage of bullets. The computer-aided aiming mechanism ensured that all bullets hit the Monster accurately.
The agile Nemesis encountered heavy firepower it had never anticipated, but most of the small-caliber machine gun bullets were deflected by its armor plates. Even the occasional bullet that managed to penetrate the armor plates or hit unprotected areas was weakened by the Kevlar fabric and could not cause any serious damage to its body, which possessed powerful self-healing abilities.
However, the Green Arrow Duck's attack prompted the operator controlling the Nemesis to issue a command to change direction. The standard-sized.314 Gatling gun spun around and began to attack the strange Duck Plushie.
7.62mm rifle bullets can't actually penetrate his tank-level armor plates, but Green Arrow Duck had no intention of standing still as a target and letting his opponent fire him to his heart's content.
Two equally matched Monster, one still and one moving, one fast and one slow, wielding similar weapons as they rained down on each other.
Alice, of course, didn't just stand there and watch. Once she was no longer a target for the machine guns, she bravely charged at the Nemesis, firing her shotgun incessantly. She knew that shooting at the body was useless, so she aimed at the exposed head.
Nevertheless, Alice's shooting accuracy was somewhat questionable. After all, shotguns rely on wide-area attacks to compensate for a lack of accuracy. There's also a side effect: relatively weak attack power. So even though several large steel pellets visibly hit the Nemesis's head, not only causing it to tilt but also creating craters, it still couldn't stop this specially enhanced Zombies Monster.
It only made that already ugly face even more grotesque.
This brief exchange seemed to allow the person controlling the Nemesis to see the strengths and weaknesses of both sides. He immediately turned his gun around and used the mini-machine gun to mow down Alice; the Duck Plushie's charge involved raising the Rocket he hadn't used in his other hand.
Seeing the rocket launcher Rocket was almost as thick as a normal person's arm, aimed at him, Green Arrow Duck certainly didn't intend to take it head-on. He quickly turned around and kept moving.
If the opponent were a sniper with a sniper rifle, Green Arrow Duck would be no different from a sitting duck by doing this. But for a not-so-agile Zombies giant wielding a Rocket, how stupid would he have to be to get hit like this?
Using its Micro-hover System, Green Arrow Duck performed many unimaginable maneuvers: sharp turns, right-angle changes of direction, and unpredictable charges towards the God of Nemesis.
In addition, to protect the shooter from burns from the exhaust flame and to propel itself using fuel jets, the initial velocity of Rocket Rocket much lower than that of a bullet.
This is why Green Arrow Duck can easily dodge Rocket using only the mechanical capabilities of its Duck Leopard armor—Duck Type. When the explosion sounded behind him, he was already close to the Nemesis.
Adamantium blade popped out from the arm. The half-arm-long blade severed the Nemesis's left forearm, cutting the Rocket in two. Even though the Umbrella Corporation's Rocket could fire in rapid succession, it was now rendered useless.
Unlike the mindless Zombies, the Nemesis seemed to have regained some human functions, even feeling pain from its severed arm and emitting low, hoarse sounds, like the sound of wind breaking through its throat.
Now it was no longer under the strong control of the person behind it, and it ignored the original command, turning the mini machine gun on its right arm around to blast away the Duck Plushie.
Alice seized the opportunity, leaping with both feet to jump a distance far exceeding that of Olympics long jumper, landing on the shoulders of the Nemesis, whose back she had been betrayed. A shotgun was pressed against the Monster's head at close range; one shot, two shots... then she ran out of bullets! Unable to change guns in time, Alice was thrown off by the Nemesis, whose broken head began to regenerate, as did its severed arms.
However, this regeneration was not a simple restoration to its original state. Without the restraint of the hard skull, the Nemesis's head became twisted and disgusting, like some indescribable monster. And its arms grew into tentacles with sharp claws.
Thrown to the ground, Alice got back up and picked up the second shotgun on her back. But seeing this, she didn't continue her attack. In fact, even Green Arrow Duck fell silent, pondering how to deal with this regenerative Monster.
However, judging from the changes in the Nemesis, we can see that its healing mechanism is different from that of Mutants like Wolverine, which focuses on "restoring the original appearance." It is more like an uncontrolled cancer cell that keeps proliferating.
There are two ways to deal with this regeneration mechanism. One is to encourage it to regenerate continuously. However, regeneration requires energy, meaning that without "feeding," the cells in its body are simply overdrawing their energy reserves.
When such behavior exceeds a certain limit, the cells of the Nemesis will collapse on their own, without needing anyone else to Destroy them.
Another method, of course, is to apply a saturation attack instantly, preventing it from regenerating.
Having made up its mind, Green Arrow Duck sent out a rallying signal. At the same time, it fired all five remaining Multi-Directional Combat Rounds, not targeting the seemingly invincible bio- Monster, but instead disabling the mini machine gun on its right arm.
With the power of close-range air-to-air rounds, it's not easy to take down a machine gun with plenty of ammunition left. Once the ammunition box, feed belt, and barrel are destroyed, this powerful weapon becomes nothing but scrap metal.
Whether it was an order from the controller behind it or its own idea, the Nemesis decisively abandoned the unusable miniature machine gun. Its large strides, though seemingly a jog, were surprisingly fast. Nemesis punched the Duck Plushie that had repeatedly hindered it.
Green Arrow Duck slid away from its original position, dodging the punch. Alice, who attacked from behind, delivered a flying kick, causing the bio- Monster to stumble and nearly fall to the ground.
