Alice, with one arm wrapped around the Duck Leopard armor—Duck Type, looked at the now-settled surroundings. "Is it over?"

Green Arrow Duck, however, looked in another direction. After a moment, it replied, "It's over."

Within his radar detection range, he actually detected two flying objects approaching him. Comparing satellite imagery, they turned out to be two military manned helicopters.

They had come with great momentum, but after the Nemesis was blown to smithereens, the two helicopters turned away without even showing their faces. Only then did Green Arrow Duck utter the words to end the matter.

Alice jumped off the Duck Plushie's hand and looked around. "Where's your artillery support? Aren't you going to call them out?"

"They're busy, they have other things to take care of, and they've already left. You'll see them sooner or later, no need to rush." After confirming that the Nemesis had been completely destroyed, the other Mecha left immediately.

Bonnie Mech needs to return to the temporary base next to the X-Jet; now everyone's city communications depend on her as a relay.

Otherwise, if all wired and wireless communications in the city are cut off by the military forces supporting the Umbrella, everyone will be left to fend for themselves and completely isolated.

The Bullhead Mecha had to go back to the base, which was now like a bustling market with large crowds gathered there.

Although the Zombies crisis has not yet fully erupted, many terrified people have already left their homes and sought refuge with the military and police.

Not far below the rooftop of the temporary base building set up by the group, Betty Thaddeus Ross's military forces were receiving and screening the civilians.

The Bullhead Mecha needs to go back and help maintain order. The four rotary machine guns on its back are very convincing; United States recognize it. Once the motors start turning, nobody wants to gamble on whether it's a toy. The Eagle Armor, like the Ursa Major, is assisting the X-Men team in their urban evacuation. Those with vehicles are manageable, but some can only walk. They need guards to protect them from being overrun by Zombies.

Of course, before leaving, Green Arrow Duck didn't forget to send a message to Bonnie Mech, asking her to call Spider-Man back. Once he returned to base, they could begin researching Antidote for the virus.

Alice wasn't fixated on meeting those who hadn't shown up. Instead, she walked towards the crater, gazing forlornly at the empty hole.

"You know, that Monster we just saw, its true form was Matt Addison. He was a good guy, but the Umbrella Corporation transformed him into this inhuman, ghost-like thing."

"I'm sorry to hear this. But I have to say, even if we had brought it under control, we couldn't make it back to normal. What he actually went through was far more horrific than what you've seen."

Alice turned back to look at the person with a horrified expression, as if Alice emotions were collapsing. "What If...? you knew that I was also subjected to something similar by the Umbrella Corporation, how would you view me? Am I Monster too?"

"Monster? No, you're way off." Green Arrow Duck couldn't help but retort. "What If...? you're planning to come back to the X-Men's temporary base with me, you'll see even more outrageous people than you."

"You're only capable of fighting that big guy. The X-Men have plenty of real Monster who could toy with that big guy like puppies."

What does it feel like to have your melancholy mood suddenly interrupted? It's like having a breath stuck in your chest that you can't exhale, making Alice want to curse.

"What would you think What If...? I said that I might also be carrying the kind of virus you're trying to solve?"

Finally, when the Dog Squad Saint Bernard arrived, Green Arrow Duck took out a spare Duck Butt kit from the cargo hold and replaced it. This replenished the ammunition they had previously used.

Seeing this strange scene, Alice's initial emotions subsided considerably. Green Arrow Duck, while performing his actions, casually replied, "Unlike chemical poisons, with viruses and bacteria, there are always some chosen ones who, after being infected, do not show the symptoms of ordinary people and can coexist with the viruses and bacteria."

"Although I don't know what percentage of the human population this represents, there must be such people. What If...? you don't mind, I can draw your blood for testing after we arrive at the base."

"And What If...? Antidote is actually developed, you shouldn't expect to retain this superhuman strength. It will all be neutralized by the Antidote eventually, and you won't be able to keep it even if you want to. Unless you have something else on your body besides the virus."

Hearing that she had a chance to return to normal, Alice's emotions calmed down a bit.

Don't assume everyone loves power. It has to be power without side effects that truly makes everyone love it. Alice watched Matt Addison's fate, and she was afraid that she would eventually become that terrifying creature herself.

But she overheard something she couldn't understand from the Duck Plushie's mouth. "Once the Antidote is developed, how do you plan to inoculate people?" In Alice's mind, the Antidote for the virus already existed; it just required injections one by one.

The Green Arrow Duck confessed honestly, "Vaccination? No, that's too slow. Besides, the virus can spread to all vertebrates through air and water. Are we going to catch cats, dogs, and crocodiles to vaccinate or just cull them?"

"The best method is to use the same transmission route as the virus, delivering the Antidote through the air or water. Ideally, the antidote should even be killed in the air; this is the only way to ensure complete safety."

Alice had long since put her earlier breakdown behind her. She asked in surprise, "Administer the drug through the air and water? How is that possible?" "Hmm, are you sure you want to hear my explanation?" After reloading his Duck Butt ammunition compartment, Green Arrow Duck started the armor's self-check, testing whether the weapon connections were secure. At the same time, he looked at the tough girl in front of him with suspicion.

Alice was indeed getting impatient with long passages of scientific theory. "Is there a simpler way to explain it?"

"Simply put, we have a device that can launch the Antidote high into the air, forming a mist-like substance that disperses into the air, affecting everyone within its range. It can even affect people hiding in buildings as the air currents through it."

"So what will happen to those who are infected?" Alice asked earnestly, concerned for her own safety. Green Arrow Duck honestly replied, "Based on my previous assessment, those in the early stages of the disease, that is, those who haven't yet turned into Zombies, will kill off all the virus in their bodies and return to normal life."

"As for those who have already Zombies, their organs have been almost completely destroyed, which is why they have lost their minds. These people will die completely. However, Antiviral Serum has not yet been developed, so there are still variables."

Alice breathed a sigh of relief, Alice expression one of immense relief. "No, What If...? I can help, let me help. If I have the kind of constitution that can coexist with the virus, it should be helpful in developing Antidote."

"If you'd like. But we can talk about that back at the temporary base. Let's go pick up our other two companions first. It seems they've already found the Doctor's daughter."

Green Arrow Duck pointed in the direction of the school and saw Jill Valentine and Ada Wong walking out with a little girl.

However, none of them looked well, clearly indicating that their experiences at school hadn't been smooth sailing. But since they managed to get through it all, whatever the issue, it can be considered resolved.
