Watch your language
Seeing Tony's determined attitude, as if he wouldn't stop until he smashed the table, Henry quickly stopped him, saying, "Don't break the table, you'll have to pay for it."
"If you want to start over from scratch in your garage, your bank savings are all you have. Trust me, you definitely don't want to waste money on unnecessary damages. The best approach is to not destroy anything."
Tony Stark stopped pounding the table, grinned, and pointed at Henry. He then made claw-like motions with both hands, as if he wanted to strangle Henry. He reached out his hands several times, then pulled them back each time.
Even the two Hepburn ladies standing nearby looked bewildered; they had no idea that one could "advise" someone like that.
It's like someone lying on the ground, feeling dejected and not wanting to get up at all. So someone else takes a knife and keeps stabbing that person until they jump up in pain and can no longer stay on the ground.
To be fair, it seemed to have some effect on Tony, that sullen little brat. After holding it in for ages, Tony Stark finally gritted his teeth and said, "Can't you talk less harshly?"
"Why not?" Henry looked at Tony Stark, who was filled with resentment, with curiosity and said, "I'm not your father, so I don't need to educate you. I'm not your mother, so I don't need to protect you. I'm not your brother, so I don't need to cooperate with you."
"I'm not your wife yet, so I don't need to assist you. I'm not even your son or grandson, so I need to give you some face. In particular, I'm not your employee yet, so I don't need to think about you as my boss."
"I don't even know if we can be considered friends, we've only met a few times. But no matter how close we are, this is just my friend's attitude. And I only tell the truth, I don't lie."
"So if you find my words harsh, it's only because your ears are too sensitive. You need to look for the problem within yourself, not in others."
"Besides, what do you mean by telling me you're going to give up Stark Industries the moment we meet? Do I have the authority to decide this? Or the right to choose?"
"In my opinion, your behavior is like finding a scapegoat to take the blame when you make a mistake in the future. What If...? you mess things up later, you can write in your memoir: Ah, I was young and naive, and I actually made a decision based on the advice of a mere driver."
"Then you casually reveal my name. Then your opinion will change from stupid to blindly believing others. That's stupid too, but it doesn't feel as stupid as messing up Stark Industries."
"And I am bad, so bad that everyone hates me and even dogs despise me. I shouldn't be like a rat in the street that everyone wants to kill, but who knows what it will be like then."
Although Henry hasn't experienced much in this life, he's encountered many people like this in his past life. Regardless of the closeness or distance of the relationship, when someone can shirk responsibility, others will never let them get away with it.
"You!" Tony Stark looked like he wanted to bite someone again. As if seeking support, he turned to the two ladies and asked, "Can I strangle this pickled radish and not eat it?"
Without a word, Catherine slapped Tony on the back of the head. "Use polite language!"
This scene left Henry both terrified and secretly pleased.
This genius brain, worth at least tens of billions in the future, is gone just like that. Truly worthy of being called the Queen of Hollywood, Catherine...
Lady Hepburn, the nemesis of two generations of Stark fathers and sons.
If the likes of Thanos saw this, they'd be drooling with envy.
Look at the future Iron Man, cowering like a coward. Catherine did what countless supervillains couldn't, and with just one slap. While there wasn't a concussion, it definitely left him with psychological trauma.
Henry also regretted not having developed some kind of recording device earlier. If he had saved this scene, it would definitely be a piece of dark history material that he could use to blackmail Tony for the rest of his life.
However, even Audrey Hepburn couldn't stand her assistant's perverse sense of humor. Although it sounded like he was trying to persuade someone in this provocative way, Audrey guessed that Henry simply wanted to provoke people, and every word he said was meant to hurt them.
He slapped Henry's arm and said in a low voice, "How can you talk like that? Shouldn't you be thinking about how you can help Mr. Stark, Henry?"
With a look of utter grievance, Henry rubbed his arm and said, "Boss, what advice can I give? I don't know anything about Mr. Old Man Stark's will or the situation of Stark Industries."
"Instead of asking me, why not find a gypsy woman and have her use Crystal to predict the outcome? She might even offer a more constructive opinion than I do. If Tony really wants to ask, he should ask the people around Old Man Stark; they're the ones who know the most."
Henry certainly didn't want to offer random advice. As a seasoned keyboard warrior, when it comes to criticizing, he naturally chooses to attack points that are difficult to fault, to avoid bouncing back at himself.
Since he didn't know the situation at Stark Industries, if he gave random advice and it turned out to be a lucky accident, that would be one thing. But if it went wrong, he would really be held responsible.
But this time, Tony finally got his chance. He put on his usual condescending and disdainful expression, and said arrogantly, "Oh, you're so good with words. I thought you were capable of everything. Turns out you can't do it all."
Henry, unfazed, retorted, "Of course, I'm just a small-time assistant who drives; even in Hollywood movies, I'm just an unknown extra. It's perfectly normal that I can't manage a big corporation or a large company."
Henry was still not satisfied with just that one sentence. Pointing at Tony, he said to the two ladies, "Maybe we should leave this idiot here."
"Let him go wherever he wants. I'm afraid if I take him in the car, he'll just listen to his nonsense the whole way and end up as stupid as him. That would be terrible."
Catherine, ever quicker than her words, slapped Henry's outstretched finger away and said, "How rude! Since we brought him out, we should take him away properly."
"So when we see an orphanage on the road, we'll just drop him off. The old folks there will take good care of him. We don't need to leave him any money; even a hair on this kid's head is worth more than we are."
Wow, when it comes to stabbing, Grandma Catherine is the real expert. She doesn't attack unless she's absolutely sure, but when she does, it comes with critical hits, armor penetration, and true damage.
Tony's haughty demeanor crumbled in an instant, and he cried out helplessly, "I'm twenty-one! I'm legally drinking! Not two!"
Another slap to the head, Catherine glared at him, saying, "Use civilized language!"
