A Terrible Costume Persona
Although it was a classic American joke format, no one present caught the punchline; they all stared in astonishment at the uninvited guest.
"Where did this Joker come from?" Erik asked disdainfully.
Hank, standing nearby, said awkwardly, "Isn't this someone from your island?"
"Believe me, if someone did that on my turf, I'd feed him to the fish," Erik said disdainfully.
The Clown-Sup, swaggering around, glanced left and right as he said, "This is the Mutants reserve, huh?"
That's quite an eye-opener. By the way, where is your casino located?
"Would you mind letting someone take a gamble? I don't have any capital, and if they lose, although I can't afford to pay them back, I can stay and perform a clown act. All you need to do is provide food and lodging."
This is a sarcastic jab at Genosha Island being designated a Native American reservation. Magneto, Erik, couldn't stand such mockery.
He just wanted to teach the people who came in a lesson.
But the mouth didn't stop; it continued talking:
"Look at the pristine natural scenery here, there probably isn't much genetically modified food. You know that's bad for your health if you eat too much of that stuff."
"If someone adds something to it again, either the entire Earth will turn into Mutants, or Mutants will die out, not a single one left. Be careful."
"However, this kind of poverty isn't without its advantages. Environmentalists should live in places like this. They grow their own food and clothes, and if the harvest is bad, they go hungry, living an environmentally friendly life without gasoline or electricity."
"Wait, that's not right. Many of you are wearing clothes that aren't pure cotton, linen, or wool; they're all polyester fiber. That's not environmentally friendly. Or do you have a green petrochemical plant that can produce environmentally friendly plastics?"
"It would be best if you did, otherwise my opinion of you would be on the same level as that so-called Europe environmental activist. She travels by plane and train, but refuses to ride a bicycle to give environmental speeches in air-conditioned rooms."
"Ultimately, environmental protection is a matter for us poor people. Look at this place, it's so thoroughly environmentally friendly. If you ask me, we can all be even more environmentally conscious, can't we?"
"Look, Genosha Island is located north of the Tropic of Cancer, so it has a tropical climate. And being an island, it's mainly hot and humid. Actually, you don't need to wear so many clothes. Like some indigenous people, a single leaf is enough, for both men and women. You know what I mean."
As the Clown-Sup's forehead trembled, his painted red eyebrows also twitched. Despite the heavy face paint obscuring his features, he still managed to project a smug, cheeky expression.
Erik, who had initially intended to teach the other person a lesson, decisively backed down. He reasoned that it's pointless for a normal person to argue with a lunatic or insist on defining what the other person should be like. It's like someone acting like a monster and going to fight with a dog.
So Erik dismissed his assembled team, taking two designated followers with him, and they went to prepare for battle. For him, the most important thing was, of course, the Psychic Defense Helmet. As long as Professor X didn't resort to underhanded tactics...
He was virtually invincible.
With everyone else gone and nowhere to run, Hank became Clown-Sup's sole target. He looked at the Joker in front of him with panic and suspicion, and asked tremblingly, "Who are you?"
"Didn't you guys send me?" Clown-Sup hooked his arm around the humanoid Hank McCoy.
He said, "Using the excuse of fighting aliens, you're forcing me to lower myself to do such a trivial thing. Do you know how much money I make every minute? I'm very busy."
"You're Henry?" Hank asked in surprise.
Clown-Sup hooked his arm around Hank's neck and headed towards the X-fighter jet. He said, "No, no, no, there's no Henry, only Clown-Sup. Just like you, Hank is Hank, Beast is Beast. Are the two names for one person or two people?"
I'm like a mixed soup, with a little bit of everything. A little bit of madness, a little bit of cowardice, a little bit of cheapness, a little bit of patheticness, a little bit of weakness, a little bit of a crooked backside, a little bit of everything.
"If you ask what the main ingredient is, it's water, of course. I've already said it, water, you're like the ocean. This blatant word-counting is infuriating, isn't it?"
"Oh right, you said we're going to fight aliens. Who are we going to fight? E. T.? I'm best at beating kids, I can beat them without them uttering a sound; if they dare to make a sound, I'll keep beating them until they're silent. So you've come to the right place."
"Have you ever seen the 'Eighteen Styles of a Loving Father and a Strict Mother'? I learned them when I was a child, but I never had a chance to use them. I don't have children of my own, so I'll just practice on other people's. Everyone says, why raise your own kids? Other people's are more fun. Don't you think so?"
"Stop, stop, stop!" Finally finding a chance to interrupt, Hank freed himself from the arm around his neck and said, "Clown-Sup, right? I know, stop talking. Go find a seat on the plane. I need to prepare for takeoff and concentrate."
"OK, no talking." Clown-Sup made a zipping motion over his mouth, boarded the X-fighter, and plopped down in the pilot's seat.
Seeing his seat taken, Hank asked dumbfounded, "Do you know how to fly Blackbird?"
"Of course I know," Clown-Sup said, pointing to the instruments and switches in front of him. "This is the landing gear handle, this is the takeoff button, this is the automatic reverse parking switch, and this is the knob for adjusting the radio channel."
"And this, my favorite, is the airplane steering wheel, right? Let me think, it's probably upside down, so turning it left makes it fly right, and turning it right makes it fly left. Next to it is a coffee machine, hmm..."
I just wanted to ask, where is the handbrake?
"Great, all wrong." Hank said helplessly, "Please, sit in the back."
"Why? The view from here is so much better!" the Clown-Sup frustrated. He adjusted the seat height and the backrest position simultaneously, getting into a game.
Hank could only transform into his Beast form, grabbing Clown-Sup's head and pulling it back.
The person who was caught offered no resistance whatsoever; like a dead Rabbit Armor being dragged by its ears, they were pulled from the driver's seat and haphazardly shoved into any of the back seats.
Hank even helped the other person fasten their seatbelt. It was only because he didn't have the tools or materials on hand; otherwise, he would have welded the other person to the seat with a metal bar.
With his sharp mind, Hank could already imagine the hardships that lay ahead.
When Magneto put on his iconic helmet and boarded the X-Jet with the prepared Red Lotus and Selene, he naturally saw the uninvited guest dressed as the Joker.
"He's going to come with us?" Magneto questioned Hank in the driver's seat.
Hank replied awkwardly, "He's the helper Raven specifically requested."
"Mutants?"
"No, he claims to be an alien."
An awkward silence fell over the X-Jet. Magneto and the other two all looked at Clown-Sup. He blinked rapidly, returning a clear, pitiful look like a puppy's eyes, making you want to punch him!
