Leaving Switzerland

Henry didn't have much luggage when he left. Besides personal clothes and belongings, it was just the computer he had brought to Switzerland.

He'll have to move back to Los Angeles. Aside from that, he has no other personal belongings.

The morning after Hepburn's will was read, a taxi that was supposed to take him to the airport arrived at this quiet little farm after being contacted by phone.

Henry was carrying his luggage into the car while dodging the harassment of the five dogs. Robert, standing beside him, chuckled, "Henry, look, they seem pretty reluctant to see you leave."

"No, these dogs are just trying to cause trouble." Henry said, somewhat annoyed, after gently kicking away a dog that had raised its leg to urinate on the cardboard box.

Looking at Robert's calm face, Henry suddenly remembered something and asked, "It seems that the lady didn't leave you anything in her will yesterday?"

"Of course there are. These five dogs," Robert said with a laugh, petting the dogs. He added, "Audrey gave me what she wanted to give me in the first place. She said what she wanted to say in the first place."

"At that time, she simply left something behind to tell everyone how to distribute it. Because you never asked her for anything, that's why she specifically mentioned you at that time."

"Actually, I wish she would talk to me more often," Henry said with a hint of helplessness.

"Haha, that's my special privilege. Anyway, have a safe trip. Feel free to contact me anytime if you need any help."

Robert held out a hand, saying goodbye.

Henry returned the handshake and said, "I will. Please take care."

Just as Henry had guessed, neither Robert, Sean, nor Luca intended to recruit him. Even if they had initially, they would have been deterred by the £500,000 bequest in the lady's will.

However they intend to use the lady's legacy, reducing the number of people who can boss others around will only bring benefits, not harm.

Therefore, they all tacitly agreed not to comment on the publication of Henry's manuscript or the autographed photograph. In any case, those items were hardly part of Ms. Hepburn's estate, or of such high value that they had to be fought for.

This must be the end of our relationship, Henry thought to himself, without much regret.

And there was another person waiting to leave together. That was Phoenix, Jean Grey.

She had been helping out until the funeral banquet ended yesterday, and finally found a chance to slip away. Or rather, she actually wanted to find a place for herself, but the lady was gone, and she had no reason to stay.

So today, I'm taking this opportunity to go with Henry.

The woman had called herself, and Henry wasn't so heartless as to abandon her. He very gentlemanly opened the door for her.

After they both got into the car, Henry said in French, "Geneva International Airport."

The driver then drove off.

"Are you going back to United States?" Qin asked the person next to her.

"Yes."

How do I get back?

"Time to board the plane." Henry took out his passport, shook it, and said, "Get the entry and exit stamps, legal entry."

"Pfft!" Jean Grey, who had essentially smuggled herself out of the country, obviously couldn't return openly. If she could travel the world, why would she need to go through all that trouble of taking a plane? But she still asked, "Where are you going?"

"Wow, sis, you're asking such detailed questions. You're not planning to come along, are you?" Henry said.

"No!" Jean Grey turned her head away, clearly not wanting to continue the conversation. But after a moment, she added, "I've decided to go back to New York."

"Okay, great, I'm going back to Los Angeles."

She abruptly turned her head, her eyes so dangerous they nearly sent Henry flying through the window. She quickly changed the subject, asking, "You're going back to Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters, right?" Phoenix didn't dare mention that the school had been renamed "Jean Grey's Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters" by the new headmistress, Mystique.

One of her reasons for wanting to go back was probably to take down that sign.

"Isn't YiYi afraid of getting trouble from the U.S. government?"

"I've been in contact with Raven these past few days, and she also thinks the government isn't a big problem. She can go back anytime she wants."

Change the name, refuse to acknowledge it, it's not a big deal.

Magneto's Genosha Island has become a haven for even more wanted criminals. Aside from a few particularly serious cases, or those that happened recently and are still fresh in our minds, has the U.S. military yet come knocking to demand their release?

The U.S. government has always wanted control, not justice. Those named terrorists and wanted criminals...

Guess how many of them are paid by the CIA.

Spending more than ten days by Henry's side, taking care of Audrey Hepburn, allowed Jean Grey to rediscover more of her humanity and memories.

The confusion she had felt earlier did not find relief or enlightenment during her solitary wandering; instead, it only made her more fixated on her own thoughts and trapped her in the emotional snares she had created for herself.

But contact with people melted away the layer of ice that had been covering her emotions. Especially the contact with that woman's frail body, that fleeting warmth made her yearn for human contact even more.

So Jean Grey has been trying to secretly contact the X-Men these days. She wants to go back, not necessarily to continue exposing herself to the public, but to return to where she belongs.

Henry didn't object to this idea; instead, he said, "That's good. Having a place to go back to is always better than having nowhere to go back to."

"So what are you going to do back in Los Angeles? Why don't you come back to New York with me? With your abilities, you could definitely play a big role in the X-Men," Jean Grey invited.

Henry responded with a dismissive emoji that said, "What nonsense are you talking about?"

Going to New York, the epicenter of a cosmic catastrophe, is one thing, but to have to squat in that stinking Mutants latrine? If I weren't lacking Mind Stone, you Mutants shouldn't even be a part of my life. Understand?

Sensing the other person's escalating murderous intent due to his expression, Henry quickly said, "Los Angeles is great. I still have a place rented Los Angeles, and I haven't canceled it yet. It would be a waste not to go back and stay there for a while."

Upon hearing this flimsy excuse, Jean Grey immediately lost interest in continuing to speak.

Who said playing hard to get could arouse a person's desire to challenge? It's clearly more appealing to be a simp. Jean Grey wants to go back to Scott right now. Cyclops is so cute; teasing him now and then, he even knows how to be jealous.

Seeing that this troublesome man had stopped talking, Henry was happy to keep quiet as well.

Although he didn't know what he was capable of or where the limits lay, Henry was certain of one thing: Phoenix, with the Phoenix Force, was definitely one of the world's top-tier combatants.

Based on the principle that with greater ability comes greater trouble and therefore greater responsibility, it's best to stay as far away from such people as possible.

However, Jean's question also made Henry confront a problem: what should he do after returning to Los Angeles?

Should I continue working on film sets as a minor actor?

It felt rather pointless after witnessing that glamorous yet filthy world.

Riding the wave of Moore's Law's explosive growth these past few years, how did they establish their reputation in the IT industry and build CK's name into a legend?

Henry never intended for this alias to be exposed. The more famous the Hacker's name becomes, the more it's like telling the police, "Come and arrest me!"

So building a CK legend is possible, but it has to be done secretly. There needs to be a job to cover it up. Besides, my savings aren't high enough to allow for early retirement yet; I need to have an income.

It's true that a life of leisure and waiting to die is about eating and doing nothing. But you can't just "wait to die" without "eating and doing nothing." The feeling of starving to death is too unbearable. Even though the time he experienced it was only to the point of near death, Henry didn't want to try it again.
