In this day and age, pet restaurants are not yet common in any country, let alone having Tiger accompany you for meals. Because everyone worries that while they're eating, the Tiger might be waiting to eat them...

Sometimes he scratches her chin, sometimes he scratches her head; whatever the movement, it makes Kitty so comfortable that she squints and makes strange snoring sounds.

The tiger's head was getting closer and closer, almost burrowing into Charlize's arms.

Looking at the Tiger's expression and actions, Henry wanted to curse him as a complete pervert. Where did he learn that from? Being masturbated by a beautiful woman, and he's this aroused?

Henry nudged Kitty's hind leg with his foot in annoyance and roared like Tiger.

Get lost, don't disturb my meal.

Kitty glanced back and also grinned and roared.

Eat yours!

It then abandoned its swaying, mountain-king-like posture and left the dining table where there was nothing for it to eat.

Charlize felt a little disappointed, but then she saw Kitty jump onto the metal cat tree, leap a few times, and climb to the top to rest on her side. This surprised her so much that she was speechless.

"Eat quickly, the food won't taste good if it gets cold." Henry tried to get Charlize's attention back. And what he said wasn't wrong; braised fish really wasn't suitable as a cold dish.

Although it was the same dinner, I was eating it rather absentmindedly this time.

"Are all Tiger this agile?" Charlize asked Kitty's question as soon as she came to her senses.

Henry had to explain, "Tiger aren't like lions. Although they're both felines, their primary habitat is forests. Climbing trees is a piece of cake for them, unless the branches are too thin to support their weight."

"So, you made these shelves?"

"We need to increase her space to move around. Otherwise, with such a small house, I can't possibly let Kitty go out and exercise. If she just eats and doesn't move, she'll turn into a pig sooner or later."

"How did you end up Tiger? You couldn't have bought it from a pet store, could you?" Charlize asked curiously.

"This is Tabby Cat, not Tiger. Who Tiger?" Henry was clearly lying through his teeth. But he still thought of an excuse and replied, "I have a friend who was commissioned to capture Tabby Cat during its weaning period."

"But the client didn't want to keep it anymore, and my friend panicked, not knowing what to do with the Tabby Cat. So I took it in to prevent it from being abandoned on the street and becoming a stray."

Henry spoke casually. And the actual process was indeed described in a similarly casual manner, only lacking some background information.

For example, this incident happened at the Continental Hotel in Los Angeles, and the friend in question was the hotel manager, Mooney Fisher.

The person who commissioned the tiger hunt didn't abandon it; he died. It was his family Inheritors said he wouldn't keep it, which is why Henry was allowed to keep it.

Although the process of raising a Tiger is described as so uneventful, it is not an official procedure or a zoo adoption process.

Logically speaking, the listener should have a million questions waiting to be asked, but Charlize took a different turn and asked herself.

"Since you were willing to take in a Tabby Cat because someone else abandoned it—" Charlize gestured with quotation marks near her ear, "—so what do you plan to do about my situation?"

Caught off guard by the sudden change of topic, Henry was momentarily speechless.

Seeing this, Charlize continued, "You made the decision to terminate my contract with John without even asking my opinion. You should have some thoughts on this, right? Or are you just trying to tell me that I'm not suited for Hollywood and should go back to South Africa as soon as possible?"

Henry put down his chopsticks and took a sip of ice water. Charlize did the same, but her eyes lit up as soon as she took a sip. "What's this? It's so delicious! It's even sweet. Is it water?" she asked.

Sis, do you know you've gone off-topic again?

Henry had to explain, "This is tap water filtered using a homemade water filter, which I then chilled in the Fridge. Generally speaking, strange tastes in water include chlorine used for disinfection, and pesticides and herbicides that enter the water circulation system."

"There are also heavy metals that are already present in the water or that get mixed in with the pipes. These things not only have a taste, but long-term consumption can also accumulate in the body and cause harm."

"This is Germany patented water purification technology that retains the minerals and beneficial ions in the water. It tastes much better than simply boiling water or using machines to produce pure water."

Incidentally, pure water, which contains no other substances, is not the water needed by the human body. Therefore, Henry never considered creating this laboratory-grade dihydrogen monoxide.

However, compared to Germany brands, which require replacement every four weeks, Henry's homemade water filter, while not costing much, still needs frequent cleaning to maintain its filtering effect.

"This is really delicious." Charlize poured herself another glass before snapping out of her reverie and remembering what the important matter was. She stared wide-eyed, waiting for Henry to continue.

Henry was both annoyed and amused by this careless girl's attitude. But he still shared his thoughts. "I must emphasize first, as long as you want to stay in Hollywood, you'll have the chance to encounter things like today again."

"So going back to your hometown is indeed an option. If you want to stay, you need to learn how to protect yourself more than relying on outsiders for protection."

"In today's situation, I just happened to hear the answering machine message when I got home. And then I was lucky enough to find you. What If...? you don't even have a chance to make a phone call, no one will know your situation. Besides yourself, no one can protect you."

"Moreover, often, people don't necessarily use violence or coercion. They might use poison wrapped in a sweet coating as bait. If you willingly take it, even if I wanted to help, I couldn't save you."

Reflecting on everything that happened today, Charlize admitted that she had indeed made quite a few mistakes. Perhaps the biggest one was that she trusted John, her agent, too much and therefore did not question his arrangements at all.

Henry continued, "What If...? you want to stay in Hollywood, continue to look for opportunities, and realize your dream of becoming a star, then let me be your agent."

"Even though I don't have any film resources, at most I can help you run around to the Screen Actors Guild and do it more diligently. But that's still better than John, who can only help you find some modeling jobs and then have to shoot those Playboy magazine photos."

"But this is only temporary, until you find a more capable agent. I can only help you stay in the film industry at most, but if you want to climb up, you'll need to find someone more capable to help you."

"As for acting schools, I don't think you need to go. Save that money, take a few less jobs, and I'll teach you acting. Although if you're good at it, getting a recommendation from an acting teacher is also an opportunity."

"However, I think what you should be considering right now is extending your time in Hollywood, rather than making short-term moves and gambling on unreliable opportunities."
