The two greeted each other warmly, shaking hands. Harris suddenly leaned closer and asked, "Tell me secretly, you're actually Catherine's secret granddaughter. The kind that's never been revealed before."

Catherine chimed in, "Wrong answer. Tell me then, whose child would you like me to have?"

"I don't know. But whoever you've been rumored to be dating, your kids would be adorable, just like Charlize's."

Hearing this, Catherine looked at Charlize suspiciously. Suddenly, she chuckled. "To be honest, if I weren't there and knew it wasn't like that, I think having a child like you wouldn't be so bad."

Charlize, instantly losing her composure, could no longer maintain her queenly demeanor and instead said with a helpless, coquettish expression, "Catherine."

This unusual look made JJ Harris's eyes light up. "Catherine, this is an expression you'd never have before."

"What If...? I told you that this child is imitating me today, and it's all acting, what would you think? Is she a promising talent?"

"What! It's not that Charlize's temperament is inherently similar to yours, that's why—"

Catherine took Charlize Theron's hand, shook her head, and said, "No. She's not like me at all. Her performance today was deliberately practiced acting."

"Oh my god. Honestly, if you weren't standing right here, I would have thought you drank some kind of magic potion that would restore your youth and make you twenty years old again."

Holding Charlize Theron's hand, JJ Harris looked her around and touched her all over. This made Charlize feel embarrassed, and her usually composed demeanor crumbled.

JJ Harris asked with satisfaction, "Charlize, what school did you go to? Or which acting school did you train at? Your facial expressions are very well controlled."

"I spent some time at the Joffrey Ballet School in New York. Then I took classes at Mr. Salvador's acting school for over a month. The rest of the time, I practiced at home with my boyfriend, Henry."

"Practicing at home? How do you practice?" JJ Harris asked curiously.

"Every day I watch a movie that has received an acting award or nomination, and then I try to imitate the performance, which he films on camera. Then we discuss the results of my performance, where it differs from the original movie, and how to improve it."

"Your boyfriend?" JJ Harris asked again. "That Henry Brown?"

"Yes, that's Henry Brown."

"Hmm." JJ Harris looked at the unassuming man with a complicated expression and said, "I thought that young man was some kind of Tony Stark classmate or friend, just working for him to pick up girls."

Catherine chimed in, "That kid is very talented too, but he's not that interested in acting. His strength is that he's very capable in other areas, so acting isn't his only option."

"Have you acted in any movies?" JJ Harris continued. She was already interested in signing the girl.

But I still want to see more of her behavior to know which direction to push her in.

However, when asked about this, Charlize replied somewhat shyly, "They were all background roles in small productions, without even any lines."

"Oh, what a pity. You deserve more opportunities to shine."

Just as the two were about to discuss deeper issues, an untimely commotion disrupted their plans.

Standing before Henry were three well-dressed white men, one older and two younger. The two younger ones produced their identification and said loudly:

"FBI, Henry Brown, we suspect you are involved in the disappearance of Congressman Mike Liddell Holden State. Please come with us to the station to cooperate with the investigation."

He spoke so loudly, as if he was afraid no one would hear him. Sure enough, the reporters present, whose flashes had been silent for a long time, lit up again, afraid that if they were too slow to press the shutter, they would miss the chance.

Henry asked with a smile, "Do you have an arrest warrant, sir?"

"No, I'm just asking for your cooperation in the investigation."

"Does it have to be on an occasion like today?"

"We would have preferred another setting, but do you know how long we've been looking for you? What If...? you refuse, that constitutes obstruction of justice, and we can arrest you directly."

I have the right to hire a lawyer, don't I?

"Notify him to come to the station to accompany you during questioning."

The two FBI agents didn't dare obstruct the lawyer's actions in public. However, they did resort to delaying tactics.

They didn't intend to wait for the lawyer to arrive and wanted to take the person into custody.

Seeing this, Charlize Theron anxiously rushed to Henry's side to defend his rights, even though she didn't understand what had happened.

However, Catherine grabbed Charlize, preventing her from rushing forward recklessly.

Although Henry didn't look over, he subtly made a gesture to block him. Regardless of whether he was seen or not, he continued, "Sirs, this isn't our first meeting, is it?"

One of them said urgently, "This is our first meeting. We finally found a person with a significant connection to the investigation into Congressman Halton's whereabouts, and that person is you."

"What If...? we had met before, things would have been cleared up long ago, instead of dragging on to this point. Don't you think so?"

Henry didn't answer; he simply reached into the pocket of his suit jacket.

This movement naturally alerted the two FBI Agent, who quickly drew their guns, pointed them at Henry, and shouted, "What are you doing! Take your hands out of our sight! Don't move!"

Henry was too lazy to even complain about the contradiction of wanting someone to take it out but not to touch it. He simply pressed the play button in his pocket, and a sound emanating from a cheap speaker immediately attracted the attention of those around him.

"FBI, Mr. Henry Brown, right? Please cooperate with our investigation."

May I ask what this is about? Or do you have an arrest warrant?

Arrest warrant? What did you do that warrants our arrest?

Don't worry, kid. Just come with us, there won't be any problems.

What If...? I refuse?

Then you're in trouble.

Then came the clearly audible sounds of the car door closing and the engine starting. Throughout this, Henry's voice kept asking questions over the cheap horn.

I simply asserted my right to ask about the destination and the motive, but all I received was silence.

At this moment, Henry, with a gun pointed at him, had already raised his free hand high. His other hand, which was in his pocket, slowly pulled out a small Sony Walkman. It was playing a cassette tape and making sound.

He raised both hands above his head, one of which held a Walkman. Henry smiled and said, "I suppose this isn't our first meeting, is it? Two FBI officers."
