Before long, the noise from the helicopters became loud enough for ordinary people to hear, naturally attracting the attention of Barbara and the injured Skrulls.

The Skrulls, still disguised, did not reveal his true form and gave up his attempt to persuade Barbara. He felt both fear and a glimmer of hope regarding any further human support.

The grass-green military Black Hawk helicopter landed directly on the ground. The 50mm machine gun mounted next to the side door indicated that this helicopter was not a rescue vehicle.

The people who jumped off the plane... it was immediately obvious that something was wrong with them.

No one was wearing standard military uniforms; instead, they were wearing various overcoats and Trench Coat. Or, like those muscular men in the gym who love to show off their muscles, they were wearing tight vests that revealed large areas of hairy muscles.

This team was not unfamiliar to Henry. That is to say, Henry did not recognize them, but he had seen them at Howard Stark's funeral.

After all, the white one-eyed leader was quite memorable. But this universe's Nick Fury is black, so who is this one-eyed Wen in front of us?

Comparing this to what I remember seeing at the funeral procession, the old woman leading the procession was missing, and there weren't as many people there.

However, Kitty, who had always maintained a good temper, unexpectedly showed hostility when the group approached.

Unlike a dog, it won't bark its teeth, bark helplessly, or crouch down as if about to pounce.

Tiger displays hostility by raising its head, staring directly at its predator, and emitting low growls. Like a king looking down at his subjects, it displays the majesty of a apex predator. If it crouches down and lowers its head, that's the prelude to an attack.

Kitty's gaze was fixed on the guy who hadn't seemed to feel the autumn chill, still dressed scantily, revealing his chest hair and muscles.

The man threatened by Kitty did not back down at all. He stared at the Tiger, his mouth agape, letting out a deep, angry roar, clearly in a confrontational tone.

If this were an ordinary group of people, they would probably be yelling and shouting at Henry to hold his pet tight.

However, the group that approached didn't take Kitty seriously at all. Even the two leading the group looked much older than when they were four years ago.

Henry remembered that the person he saw four years ago, though aged, was in excellent spirits. Now, apart from his still sharp eyes, his physical condition was far from what it used to be.

The one-eyed white old man didn't step forward. Instead, the Irish old man behind him, wearing a beret and sporting a handsome upturned mustache, stepped forward and greeted him, "Timothy Dugan, Howling Commandos."

Wow, it really is this group. And this Timothy Dugan is none other than Dum-Dum Dugan, a veteran who used SSS Serum to slow down aging and has survived since World War II.

The Howling Commandos weren't exactly a secret organization; they served alongside Captain America during World War II and earned a formidable reputation. It's just that most people don't know they didn't disband after the war.

Henry stepped forward to return the greeting, shook hands, and said, "Henry Brown. A nobody."

"Ha, a nobody like us can't get Tony Stark to come looking for us." Howard Stark, as a logistical support staff member, said.

The people in the Howling Commandos were certainly no strangers to this. That's why Dum Dum Dugan dared to openly use the attitude of an uncle or elder.

Despite exchanging casual greetings, Dum Dugan's sharp eyes were simultaneously observing the situation, quickly assessing the circumstances. Meanwhile, the Skrulls, disguised as a Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and being held at gunpoint by Barbara, loudly protested, "Sir, sir, I am a S.H.I.E.L.D.. Level 3 agent!"

"These two are terrorists wanted by the Los Angeles branch on the West Coast. Chief Kohler has given the order to kill them on sight. Ignore me, shoot them immediately!"

Dum- Dugan, of course, didn't believe the guy's nonsense. Instead, he stepped forward, pinched the guy's chin, and examined him closely. "This is an alien, it doesn't look like one." He then rubbed the bloodstains from the guy's arm between his fingertips.

This performance truly made the captured Skrulls imposter feel despair.

"The one who died in the passenger seat, that's what they originally looked like," Henry said.

At this point, everyone's attention shifted to the passenger seat. Due to the angle and the obstruction of the windows, it was difficult for them to see clearly.

Dum- Dugan opened the car door and pulled the alien out slightly. "Oh dear, this is really ugly."

Then he touched around, fiddling with the dead Skrulls's face, asking, "Is this real?"

This guy was even so bold as to touch the Skrulls's forehead with his finger, near the hole that Henry blasted out with his pistol, and taste the liquid that looked like Skrulls blood or bodily fluids!

Seeing this, Henry could only say that he truly deserved to be called a World War II veteran, having survived piles of Deadman.

Sure enough, upon tasting the unpalatable flavor, Dam- Dugan spat a few times to the side.

"Is it good?" Henry asked without thinking.

Dum- Dugan, on the other hand, looked at the young man who had asked the question with a look of utter disbelief. Henry chuckled a few times at this.

Let's skip over this matter and not mention it again.

As if to cleanse his palate, Dum Dugan cut off a cigar and lit it on the spot. He then pointed to the black-suited man controlled by Barbara and asked, "How are you going to prove this guy is the same kind as the one inside? I don't look like it."

"Do you have a knife? I have an idea I'd like to test."

Reaching behind his back, Dumbo Dugan pulled out a Rambo Knife. He grinned smugly and said, "This thing may have been invented in movies, but it's really useful. Remember to give it back," before shoving it into Henry's hand.

Weighing the real thing in his hand, and noticing the mysterious discoloration on part of the blade, Henry knew that this knife was no mere decoration, but a sharpened object.

Arriving before the Skrulls imposter, who was still relentlessly trying to smear himself, Henry ignored the man's gasps, grabbed his hand, and slammed it onto the hood of the car.

Then, with a swift motion, she severed one of his fingers. His agonizing scream almost shook Barbara's resolve.

The girl had already confirmed from their previous words that these were Skrulls, which was why she hadn't made a move. And Dum- Dugan's accomplices were all heartless people; the Skrulls ' pitiful display of strength had no effect.

The severed finger was presented to everyone. Without explanation, and not long afterward, the finger began to change. It shed its disguise and reverted to its original form.

Henry said, "It seems to be just as I thought. As soon as a part of the body is detached, it loses control as if it were dead, and then reverts to its original state."

Even without considering the process of change, no one would think that green, sharp-fingered fingers belonged to a human. "What If...? you're wrong?" Dam-Tan Dugan asked.

"Then let's find other ways to prove it," Henry said with a smile, completely unconcerned.
