Miscalculation
Quicksilver had his own thoughts about how his younger sister's magic had been Cyclops.
Now it seems that the only ones truly worthy of our high hopes are the sorcerers, led by the Scarlet Witch.
The situation with Mutants might be more complicated if Magneto were present. However, the X-Men, led by the moderate Professor X, have proven their lack of lethality and are unlikely to turn the tide.
Even Phoenix seems hesitant and timid. It's a miracle this group doesn't cause trouble; expecting them to be effective in crucial moments is unrealistic.
With two prompts, Scarlet Witch seized the perfect opportunity and decisively activated the magic trap, once again trapping the Void and Superman together.
The other mages frantically reinforced the magical shield, layer upon layer, using all sorts of attributes and abilities, regardless of whether they were suitable. This was done both internally and externally, to prevent Cyclops from blasting the shield open again.
With their dulled senses, even after directly encountering the Void and getting beaten up, Mutants still couldn't comprehend the Monster's power.
But magicians are different; that metaphysical perception is their first lesson. The firefly's perception of the blazing sun is their view of the Void.
To be honest, the fact that they didn't run away in this situation is not only due to the presence of the Sorcerer Supreme, but also because the remaining mages were incredibly brave. Otherwise, they would have all run away long ago.
Fortunately, they weren't on the front lines of this battle. Even though there were several crises with the Void approaching, they were all resolved by the person in the red and blue battle suit. This at least gave them some peace of mind, allowing them to act more boldly.
Superman, who was also trapped, didn't care about his inherent weakness of low magic resistance. He just the Void entangled with the Void, keeping it firmly in place and trapped within the magic.
He didn't believe that such magic could be transformed into a killing array to completely resolve the Void trapped within. To truly deal with this guy, they would still have to rely on Professor X to awaken the "Robert Reynolds" personality.
This most powerful Marvel superhero has only one weakness: himself.
Only when the aura within the trapped formation changed did he realize his misconception. He roughly knew the origins of several versions of the Sentry and the Void, regardless of which version was in front of him. To deal with the Void, the only way was to awaken the Sentry on their own.
In this situation, the only person who can truly help is Professor X, the most powerful Mind Stone ability user. He can delve into the Void within and awaken the good within.
But others don't know!
Since they didn't know, when the Void was trapped by magic, wouldn't the dominant mages have considered using magic to bombard it and see if they could directly solve the problem?
Even though Superman was inside, he had just encouraged her to "act boldly." Without hesitation, Scarlet Witch switched from trapping to killing, unleashing a barrage of attacks with the purest source of Chaos Magic!
This allowed those trapped inside to experience firsthand what it means to have low magic resistance.
Ever since he was exposed to the Yellow Sun sunlight, even if he were shot by a bullet, regardless of the caliber, he would feel it, just not "pain". Of course, it wouldn't cause any harm.
But the magic seemed to be a kind of attack on the spiritual level. The expected pain and the expected hot and cold damage were all present. This feeling was something I hadn't experienced in a long time, and it even affected my physiology through my mind, causing corresponding wounds to appear on my body.
However, low magic resistance doesn't mean Superman will be killed by magic. His tanky nature remains unchanged even though magic can penetrate his defenses.
The joke about low magic resistance mostly refers to negative status magic, such as weakness, hypnosis, and disease, which always seem to work on Superman.
But who has ever actually used magic to kill Superman?
Perhaps the only record that can be considered a feat is in Justice League of America #145 in 1977, where Count Crystal kills Superman with magic at the beginning. Then the Justice League members enter the "Soul Carnival" extradimensional world to rescue Superman.
This victory seems more like a plot device, a kill designed to advance the storyline. Countless other high-level mages and demons have never achieved the same feat.
The situation is similar for Sentry, or rather, for the Void.
Those low-level mages couldn't harm the Void entity with their insignificant attacks. Even the tendrils or shadows extending from its body could easily withstand those weak attacks.
But the Scarlet Witch's magic is completely different.
Although the magic in the Marvel Universe is "borrowed" from a dimensional demon, the same spell can vary in strength and effectiveness depending on the user.
Scarlet Witch can almost be seen as the embodiment of chaos, the Earth's representative of the Old Gods Chthon.
Having thoroughly studied the Darkhold, she is a powerful sorceress who can be considered one of the most powerful sorcerers in the Marvel Universe. Attacks from her are not the Void can easily withstand.
He and Superman were trapped together, suffering the same pain. This made the Void laugh triumphantly.
Just as Superman was about to release one of his hands that was suppressing the Void and punch the guy, the two of them suddenly found themselves in a different place.
They were no longer trapped within the Scarlet Witch's barrier, but had arrived at a large, pure white room.
The room had no partitions; the toilet, sink, and bed were all in the same space. It was clearly Kryptonian had arrived on Earth and spent his first twenty years in that prison in the underground research facility in Siberia.
The difference was that this room had no access control. The door to leave was wide open, and outside was like a stage, with lively music and enthusiastically cheering audience.
The room was quite different from what I had imagined; at least the row of clothes racks with all sorts of ridiculous costumes was something I hadn't seen before. There was also a cabinet cluttered with superhero movie DVDs and comic books with illegible covers.
A television set sits on a TV cabinet, playing a constantly changing program. The program primarily features black and white films, with only a very few color films.
A close look at the film's plot reveals that most of the scenes shown are highlight moments for the female leads. This not only creates dramatic tension but also allows the cinematography to showcase these beauties in stunning detail.
Since most of the films were in black and white, they naturally featured beauties from Hollywood's golden age. And in the very few color films, the actress playing the role was, of course, his beloved Charlize Theron.
A thin, teenager, dressed in a medical tube skirt, sat on the floor with his legs drawn up, staring intently at the television.
All of this suggests that he never left the room; only some new things came in.
Behind the boy stood two tall, burly men. One wore a red and blue battle suit, a bright red cape, and slicked-back black hair with a tuft of curly hair on his forehead; the other wore a yellow and blue battle suit, a sky-blue cape, and had flowing long golden hair, giving him a somewhat decadent look.
The Void, arms crossed, surveyed the room with interest and asked, "Is this the place you can't escape from?"
Wearing Superman's suit, he instinctively didn't want to say much to the Void, simply staring sharply at people. But when his eyes shifted to the television screen, they inevitably softened.
It turns out he never left this place.
