Senile Confusion

Henry, back in civilized society, obediently boarded a plane and flew to New York, just like everyone else. Kitty stayed at their rented apartment in Los Angeles and didn't bring him to New York.

Domestic flights don't involve complicated checks or customs. Henry took a taxi from the airport straight to East 49th Street in Manhattan, in the traditional upscale residential area of Turtle Bay.

Henry, dressed casually with a scraggly beard and hair, looked like a hippie from the 1970s. As Henry pressed the visitor bell, the building's doorman stared at him intently.

It felt like if the other party sensed something was wrong, they would just throw you onto the street.

"Hepburn Mansion, who is this?" came the voice from the doorbell.

"Maria Stark, this is Henry Brown." Henry waved to the camera in front of the doorbell.

"Oh my goodness, Mr. Brown, how have you changed so much!"

"Haha, I just wanted to change my mood."

After knowing that the heat ray could not be used, what bothered you the most? It wasn't that my plan of hand-rubbing the suit was forced to stop, but that I couldn't even cut my hair or shave! This decadent style was really not what I wanted.

"Please come up quickly. Oh, by the way, Mr. Tony Stark is here too." As he spoke, the building's iron doors opened.

"That young master is here too," Henry thought to himself, but without any resentment, he calmly walked upstairs. He didn't forget to wave at the doorman and make a strange face, as if to show off.

Catherine Hepburn stood warmly at her doorstep to welcome him. But her smile vanished the moment she saw Henry, and she asked, "Who are you?"

"Catherine, it's me. Henry Brown."

The old woman tilted her head, thought for a moment, and asked, "And who is Henry Brown?"

"A self-important, dirty, slovenly, hippie-like scoundrel." This self-description was written by Tony Stark, standing inside the room, holding a wine glass.

The old woman didn't hold back. She grabbed Henry's beard and pulled him down. Then she raised her wrinkled, thin old hands and began to manipulate Henry's face, pulling his hair, pinching his cheeks, and even pulling down his eyelids.

"Ah, Henry, it's you. What are you doing looking like a wild man? Is Hollywood making a live-action version of ' The Flintstones '?" The old lady may have forgotten things, but her sarcastic skills were still top-notch.

"Catherine, your examination method is quite unique. How did you manage to identify me like that?"

Catherine Hepburn didn't answer, but said to herself, "Come in, child. Don't stand outside."

What can you do when you encounter this kind of self-absorbed, childish old person?

1. Turn around and run, run as far as you can.

Second, just go along with it. What else can you do?

Henry had no choice but to say, "Come in, come in. You can come in too," while holding the door open with his hand.

Turning around, Catherine Hepburn saw Tony Stark and exclaimed with delight, "Howard, you've come to see me too!"

Being mistaken for his deceased father, Tony Stark looked utterly exasperated. He wanted to curse, but couldn't bring himself to say it.

Henry found it amusing and stepped in to explain, "Catherine, he's not Mr. Howard Stark. He's Tony Stark."

"Tony Stark? Who is that?"

"Mr. Howard Stark's son."

Catherine Hepburn looked astonished. "Howard has a son! How is that possible? That little rascal is a womanizer; if he didn't have the ability to protect himself, he'd have a whole bunch of illegitimate children by now. How could he just casually have a son?"

Catherine Hepburn was born in 1907. Howard Stark was born in 1917. So, no one can refute the old lady's statement that Howard was younger. They were ten years apart in age.

Tony Stark, on the other hand, is currently feeling incredibly frustrated!

Then Catherine Hepburn muttered, "I hope this boy isn't like his old man, always chasing after women and never settling down. He's always ruining other people's girls; I hope he doesn't give birth to a girl to pay off his debts."

"Haha, it's too late now. I just wonder if the young master has inherited the master's true skills, how well the protection measures are in place, and if he has any illegitimate children outside. They might already be enough to form a basketball team." Henry couldn't help but laugh.

The young master, in Wolverine move from an angle where Catherine couldn't see, made a throat-slitting gesture towards Henry.

Henry simply stuck his neck out and patted him, as if to say, "Come on, come on."

The two, about to start an argument using pantomime, were interrupted by the old lady. Henry had Catherine Hepburn grab his arm and pull him towards the dining room. "Come on, I made cookies, help me taste them and see if they're good."

"Oh, that's great! I just got off the plane and I'm a little hungry."

Seeing the elderly woman's hunched and slow movements truly evokes a feeling of pity, reminding one that health has genuinely slipped away from her.

As this elderly man, supported by Henry, passed by Tony Stark, he swiftly snatched the glass from Tony's hand. "Spencer, your liver is in bad shape; you can't drink anymore."

The young master, mistaken for someone else, looked at the lost wine glass, seemingly wanting to say something. But in the end, he only sighed and said, "Fine, I won't drink anymore."

"Good boy."

For a moment, it was unclear whether the old lady was genuinely suffering from dementia or just using the situation as an excuse. Both Henry and Tony Stark felt a mixture of amusement and exasperation.

Casually placing her wine glass on a small table, Catherine Hepburn led two grown men, one on each side, towards her dining room. They chatted, recounting untold stories of the past, and at the same time, she fussed over her husband like a devoted wife.

Tony Stark, however, remained reserved and wouldn't respond directly unless called by his name.

In contrast, Henry was much more casual. He would respond no matter whose name was called to him. Sometimes he was called "Spencer," sometimes "John," and sometimes "Howard," but he would only respond when he was being addressed as Henry, and only very rarely.

As for the appearance of another "John" here,"Henry speculated, it is very likely the director John Ford, whose real name is John Martin Finney, who has a crush on Catherine.

Incidentally, this remarkable man, who was active on the battlefields of World War II with his camera, held a formal military rank. After the war, he was promoted to Commodore in the U.S. Navy Reserve, one of only two generals in Hollywood.

Another was James Stewart, U.S. Air Force brigadier general who flew bombers on the front lines in the Europe theater of World War II.

He once commanded the bombing of Berlin as a battalion operations officer.

However, John Ford was already married with two children when he was pursuing Catherine Hepburn.

Spencer Tracy was the same; during his time with Catherine Hepburn, he did not divorce his first wife, citing his Catholicism faith.

Even after Spencer Tracy's death in 1967, Catherine Hepburn once told a friend that she herself didn't know if she was the one who was loved. But she still cherished the time they spent together.

Despite appearing on screen as a groundbreaking, powerful woman, Catherine Hepburn's romantic life was always filled with married men or playboys.

Now that he's old and senile, none of the men he cherishes are by his side. It's truly a pity.
