Upon hearing Henry's reply, Catherine sighed and said, "What a pity. When I was young, I loved performing, so I was blinded by that hobby and didn't see what Hollywood was really like."

"By the time I realized what was happening, I was already caught in the whirlpool and couldn't escape. What If...? I had another chance, I might just stay in that theater."

Henry said regretfully, "In that case, the world would be missing a great star Catherine Katharine Hepburn. I don't want to continue in film simply because I don't think I have the potential to become a big star, nor am I suited for it."

"How could that be? Your performance was quite good." Catherine's eyes gleamed with a hint of cunning.

"Hehe, you can tell?" Henry neither denied it nor admitted anything.

"In that case..." Catherine took a sip of her drink, thought for a moment, and asked, "Can you drive?"

Henry nodded and replied, "Yes."

Catherine then turned to Tony and asked, "Tony Stark, what do you think of Henry's performance?"

"What performance?" Tony asked, puzzled.

"It's his performance in gunfights."

Tony Stark said dismissively, "Not bad, at least he won't hold anyone back." Then he asked, "Why would you want to know this, Catherine?"

"You know," Catherine said, "I'm also friends with another Ms. Hepburn— "Ms. Hepburn made a quotation mark gesture with her hand near her cheek, "And recently, her longtime driver retired."

"Since becoming a United Nations Children's Fund Goodwill Ambassador in 1988, she has been visiting various places. Soon after, she also had a trip to Somalia in Africa."

"I heard that the local situation is a bit unstable, so I thought about finding a reliable driver for this friend who can also be her bodyguard when she travels the world."

Henry's eyes lit up when he heard this. He nodded repeatedly and pointed at himself frantically, as if he were missing a dog's tail, wagging it like a helicopter propeller to carry him into the sky.

Catherine wasn't offended by Henry's self-recommendation. But she still said, "I just want to know if you have any compelling reasons to convince me that recommending you as Audrey's driver is a reliable option."

Henry could understand Catherine's concerns.

In any case, today was Henry and Catherine's first meeting. Because she felt a slight liking for him, she introduced him to her friend.

If something happens because of this, putting aside the question of who is responsible, Catherine will probably feel guilty for the rest of her life.

When wealthy people like them hire someone, they conduct thorough background checks, investigate three generations of their family, and put them to a loyalty test before even considering hiring them.

What If...? it were just a simple job interview, the most suitable bodyguard/driver candidates could be found in the United States, easily found among veterans.

Does Henry possess any more valuable skills that would warrant Catherine recommending him to her friend? Or any more compelling assurance?

So when Catherine said those words, she was actually looking at Tony, wanting to know if Tony Stark's evaluation of Henry was enough for her to make such a recommendation.

However, Henry wasn't willing to gamble on whether his relationship with Tony was enough to guarantee anything. Because in reality, it wasn't, and Henry knew that perfectly well.

The fact that he was invited to today's private banquet is purely due to some inexplicable lapse of judgment on this young master's part. Perhaps he simply wants to use "Ms. Hepburn" as bait to make a fool of someone.

It's unclear whether today's performance satisfied the young master. But if he wanted him to make a guarantee, Henry felt it was better to increase his own leverage.

Although this goes against my original intention of living a carefree life, being able to see Audrey Hepburn in person and perhaps revealing a little bit of my abilities isn't so bad.

Henry thought it would be a difficult choice, but he made the decision almost without thinking, saying, "Tony, my friend, do you have a gun here? A pistol will do, lend me one."

"Walter! What do you need a gun for? You don't seem like the kind of person who believes suicide will send you to Hell, so if you want to go down there, you'll have to find another way."

Tony delivered a small, neither forceful nor weak, counterattack.

Henry immediately turned to the other side and asked, "Mr. Hart, I know this request is a bit presumptuous, but I assure you it's not meant to harm anyone, just to prove something small. Seeing is believing, so do you have a gun?"

Alex Hart pondered for a moment and said, "Perhaps my driver has it. Shall we go and call him in now?"

"Thank you for your trouble."

A short while later, a large white man in a black suit arrived at the dining room, guided by the villa's servants.

Henry said to the man, "Sir, do you have a gun on you? May I borrow it?"

"Mr. Hart." The burly white man looked at his employer. He dared not easily hand over a gun to a stranger, especially when he had no other weapons.

Alex Hart wanted to see if the outcome would be as he predicted, but as the moment approached, he hesitated. Was it a good thing to give a stranger a weapon?

Henry probably guessed their concerns, so he changed his tune, saying, "How about this, sir, you don't need to hand me the gun. Just shoot me in the palm. Anyway, you probably wouldn't dare shoot anywhere else."

The big white man had never seen anything like this before—that someone would actually ask another person to shoot him. So he still hesitated and looked at his employer, hoping to get clear instructions.

As if to reassure the other party, Henry continued, "Go ahead and shoot. I promise I won't hold you responsible or ask for compensation afterward."

At the same time, Henry extended his right hand to the side, away from his body, and said, "You can stand closer to shoot, to avoid the difficulty of hitting from too far away."

This time, Alex Hart had fewer reservations and nodded to his bodyguard.

The burly white man then pulled a Beretta 92F pistol from its holster and aimed it at Henry's outstretched hand. He didn't dare get too close, and even before firing, he checked it several times.

"Sir, are you sure you want me to shoot your palm?"

"Yes, I'm sure," Henry replied.

No regrets?

"What do I have to regret? Just shoot, don't act like a fool..."

"Bang!" The shot caught everyone present off guard.

Henry's palm was only slightly concave, having moved back a little. He then showed his palm to everyone at the table; it was completely unharmed, let alone having a hole in it.

"Look everyone, I'm fine," Henry said smugly.
