He woke up in a hotel in Crown City. A breeze carrying the fragrance of flowers drifted in through the window, while the lush forest rustled outside. Crown City was known as a city of water and greenery, where ancient streets and modern architecture blended perfectly.
The city gave him a feeling of harmony between humanity and nature. Trees, flowers, and grass had been planted throughout the city, which resulted in a larger population of Grass-type and Bug-type Pokémon. Most of them hid in densely vegetated areas and only came scurrying out after dark.
He had noticed those Wild Pokémon last night while getting off the train and evading pursuit. He had circled around the city for quite some time before finally shaking off those men in black suits.
Those people looked like members of a local gang. He had no idea why they were targeting him. He had already sent Gengar to sneak over, hoping it could uncover something useful.
A whole night had passed, and he had no idea what Gengar was doing. If Gengar did not return soon, he would have to send Darkrai out to find it.
Fortunately, by the time he had gotten up, washed up, and sat down for breakfast with his Pokémon, Gengar returned as a Black Shadow and brought back the information it had gathered.
