No Choice Before

"You?" Officer Jenny glared at the middle-aged man. She realized she had been played. The question he had asked had nothing to do with the Noble Case, but just as she was about to get angry, the middle-aged man explained.

"Shh. You've heard the recent rumors too. Isn't it better to let him prove himself?" The middle-aged man raised a finger and offered a brief explanation.

However, Yu Hai dropped a bombshell. "The League..."

"What?" The middle-aged man had not expected to dig up such explosive information. Yu Hai was actually an undercover agent planted by the League in the Orange Islands. Then the two of them heard Yu Hai continue speaking indistinctly...

"Undercover code 95xx, contact key xxxx... undercover mission xxxx..."

"Stop him!" the middle-aged man shouted in terror. If what Yu Hai said was true, it involved a secret mission from the League Executive. Even as an International Police officer, he had no authority to know such classified information.

Fortunately, both of them panicked afterward and had no mind to listen to Yu Hai. Yu Hai was not speaking clearly anyway; they only caught something about ninety-five. They had Drowzee stop Yu Hai from saying anything more.

Who would have thought that a mere case involving the destruction of a noble family would uncover something this huge? It concerned the League's arrangements in the Orange Islands. If they ruined Yu Hai's undercover mission while failing to solve the Noble Case, would that not add another crime to their list?

"Mm? My head hurts a little. What just happened?" Yu Hai shook his head and looked at the middle-aged man and Officer Jenny. Seeing both of them visibly relieved, and Drowzee waking him up, he still put on a baffled expression. Inside, though, he was already laughing himself silly.
