Everyone responded softly, their expressions full of understanding. Starting with Shingo, Number Eleven, they passed around the manuscripts detailing the Elite Four promotion method in turn, until the copies returned to Yu Hai's hands.

Yu Hai sat at the head of the table and nodded slightly as he quickly counted the manuscripts, murmuring, "One, two..."

The candlelight on the table was dim, illuminating his stern face. After checking them over, he found ten returned manuscripts. One was still with Luo Yan, and including his original copy, there were twelve in total.

"Alright, that's enough for today. Everyone, go get some rest." Yu Hai stood up, his chair scraping sharply against the floor as his deep voice announced the end of the gathering.

"Boss, we still haven't dealt with the traitor." Luo Yan hurriedly spoke up, his thick brows tightly furrowed and his eyes burning with anger. He had been thinking about this the entire time. As he spoke, he looked toward A Xiang, who was curled up by the door, his gaze like a blade.

"I almost forgot." Only then did Yu Hai turn his gaze toward A Xiang, his eyes filled with disgust.

A Xiang looked like a stray dog. He lay collapsed on the floor, his face as pale as paper, cold sweat continuously rolling down his forehead and soaking his filthy clothes.

Yu Hai immediately lost interest. He casually waved his hand and called out, "Each of you give him one stab, then go rest..."

"Alright!" A flash of excitement crossed Luo Yan's eyes as he impatiently pulled out a dagger. The blade glinted coldly, reflecting his twisted face.

He strode up to A Xiang, who was tightly bound with ropes, raised his hand without hesitation, and viciously drove the dagger into A Xiang's shoulder.
