After exchanging a glance, Seiya and Minezaki entered the cave before them together.
After walking for more than ten meters, Seiya and Minezaki suddenly felt as though they had passed through an invisible ripple-like barrier, their bodies slipping straight through it.
One second, they had clearly been in a dimly lit cave. The next, the light before them became exceptionally bright.
When Minezaki looked around again, her huge eyes widened as she stared at the scenery around her, her face filled with disbelief.
Dazzling sunlight filtered through the mottled leaves. The air was not only exceptionally fresh, but also carried a faintly sweet fragrance.
"Seiya, do you see this?! This is unbelievable! Is this the Gourmet World? Are we really still on Earth?"
It was no wonder Minezaki was so excitedly tugging on Seiya's clothes and shouting. To her, the scene before her was simply too shocking.
The place they were in appeared to be a rainforest, but not only were the plants around them unlike anything Seiya and the others had ever seen, they were also exceptionally massive and strange.
Seiya even reached out to touch a plant beside him that resembled an iron tree, only to discover that its leaves were actually made of caramel. The sweet fragrance in the air was being emitted by it.
Plants whose branches and leaves gave off the scent of caramel definitely did not exist in the Human World, which was why Minezaki wondered whether they were still on Earth.
In truth, Minezaki's surprise was understandable. Even Seiya, who possessed memories from multiple planes, wore a surprised expression when he reached out and passed his hand through the invisible ripple-like barrier behind them.
It was clearly one world, yet it contained two planes that seemed like an inner and outer world.
