Background / History

Minezaki was formerly a senior executive at a real-estate company. Acting under orders from her boss and company, she attempted to force Seiya and Soma Yukihira to stop operating their restaurants. She lost a cooking wager to Seiya and transferred 20 million yen as payment; Seiya retained only 200,000 yen and returned the rest. 383 456

After losing her job, Minezaki returned to Wenren Restaurant exhausted and haggard. Seiya served her Preserved Egg and Lean Pork Congee, whose taste reminded her of her mother's warmth and the hardships that had motivated her career ambitions. 384 389

She then applied to work at the restaurant.
