Mai defeated Marik in the quarterfinals with Seiya’s new Synchro Summon, while Seiya’s adventures with the Victory Team brought him closer to Mayumi and Krismaya. The arc ended with Seiya transforming into Hero Ultraman to save civilians from a Natanian at an amusement park.

• Mai used Seiya’s help to summon Harpie Knight Baby Dragon and Harpie Lady - Valkyrie, defeating Marik and winning the quarterfinal duel.
• Mai asked Seiya about Synchro Summoning, and Seiya met new versions of himself in the Mind Dream Space, including one from Attack on Titan and one who was an Eevee.
• Seiya joined the Victory Team’s mission against the Lightning People, saved Mayumi during the Gazort attack, and transformed into Herro to help defeat both Gazorts alongside Tiga.
• The Victory Team encouraged Seiya to take Mayumi to Krismaya’s concert, where Seiya discovered that Krismaya was an alien searching for her family.
• Seiya and Krismaya played games through the night, while Krismaya canceled an appearance to practice so she could improve at gaming.
• After Shinjyo returned from a mission with an alien controlling his body, Seiya realized the alien was probably Maya’s brother and helped search for him.
• Maya reunited with her brother at an amusement park, but a Natanian attacked them and shot Shinjyo while he protected a child.
• When the Natanian grew to fifty meters and endangered civilians trapped in a Ferris wheel, Seiya revealed his device and transformed into Hero Ultraman.

Seiya and Daigo stopped Gijera, then discovered that Camilla and the other Dark Giants had awakened and unleashed Zoga across the world. Seiya persuaded the trio to accept his power, but they abducted Daigo to pursue their revenge against Tiga.

• Seiya helped Daigo destroy Gijera after humanity chose to reject its dream-inducing pollen, and TPC later assigned them to investigate the Luluye Ruins.
• Seiya and Daigo discovered that Camilla, Hudra, and Darram had awakened, while Camilla sent Zoga across the world to test humanity and seek revenge on Tiga.
• Captain Iruma revealed she suspected Daigo was Tiga, and Seiya revealed himself as Hero Ultraman while defeating the Zoga alongside Tiga.
• Seiya rejected Camilla’s offer to join them against Gatanothor, defeated the Dark Giants, and persuaded them to accept his Power of Light while promising to help with their revenge.
• Camilla, Hudra, and Darram abducted Daigo and tortured him over Tiga’s betrayal, then left him at his doorstep the next morning.
• Daigo went to Victory Base to make sure Rena was safe and later showed Seiya the whip marks from Camilla’s attack.

Seiya helped Daigo and the Three Dark Giants defeat Gatanothor, then accepted Kikuoka’s paid request to investigate Death Gun in GGO. He became famous after winning a tournament with an Antique Revolver and began building his equipment, while Nao and Anji moved into his house.

• Daigo asked Seiya to protect Rena, but Camilla, Hudra, and Darram repeatedly beat him until they stopped and sought Seiya’s help against Gatanothor.
• Black mist disabled systems around the world, and Gatanothor emerged after a nuclear strike on the Luluye Ruins, and Daigo transformed into Tiga but could not harm it.
• Camilla, Hudra, and Darram joined Tiga against Gatanothor, but it turned them and Tiga to stone before children’s hope revived Daigo and Seiya returned with the ancient warriors’ light.
• Seiya and the revived Tiga led the transformed Giants of Light in destroying Gatanothor, dispersing the black mist, and Daigo married Rena, while Camilla settled on Earth and fell for Seiya.
• After deciding to reopen the Wenren Kendo Dojo, Seiya accepted Kikuoka’s offer to investigate Death Gun in GGO and entered the game under his real name.
• Seiya won the Bounty Tournament by defeating Shino with an Antique Revolver, and his victory drew the attention of Shoichi Shinkawa and the other Death Gun conspirators.
• Seiya bought a lightsaber and handgun with his winnings, while Nao and Anji moved into his house during his investigation.
• Seiya trained and won further tournaments, earning enough to assemble full equipment and gaining the name Golden Lion Cub, as Shino logged out, a black-haired girl bumped into her while fleeing someone.

Kirito entered GGO to help Seiya investigate Death Gun, while Shino became caught up in their plans and the Bullet of Bullets tournament. Seiya exposed and defeated Death Gun as his accomplices were arrested, then remained in the tournament to face Kirito and Shino.

• Kirito secretly entered GGO, met Shino, and won the Cowboy NPC challenge to earn money for his equipment.
• Seiya entered the Bullet of Bullets tournament as bait for Death Gun, while Asuna visited his home and Nao mistakenly suspected her of being the assassin.
• Kirito reunited with Seiya in GGO and revealed his suspicion that Death Gun was an SAO survivor, while Shino learned Kirito had disguised himself as a woman.
• Seiya defeated Berserk Bonito in the preliminaries using his Optical Gloves, and his performance made him famous among GGO viewers.
• Death Gun attacked Shino in GGO while Kyoji Shinkawa tried to reach her in person, but Kirito drove Death Gun off and kept Shino from logging out.
• Seiya identified Death Gun as Shoichi Shinkawa and fought him through the Optical Disruptor’s effects, while Nao knocked out Atsushi Kanemoto and forced Kyoji to surrender at Seiya’s home.
• Nao and Anji told Kikuoka Seijirou that Shoichi was the mastermind, and Seiya restrained Death Gun with modified Chain Hooks and shot him at close range.
• Kikuoka’s team arrested Shoichi, while Seiya continued the tournament and fought Kirito as Shino joined the battle with her sniper rifle.
