"That's a good thing. Where would he be promoted to?" Lu Zheng asked with a smile.
"How would I know? It depends on where there is a vacancy." Du Huanzhen shook her head. "Perhaps he will merely be promoted half a rank while remaining in his current post."
Duan Changzai had not gone out on a mission either. Hearing that Lu Zheng had come, he came over to greet him. "It is rare for brother Lu to visit Yizhou. Let's have a small gathering tonight."
Lu Zheng grinned. "Where?"

He had nearly let it slip, forgetting that Lu Zheng had brought a female companion.
Lin Wan could not help rolling her eyes, while Du Huanzhen gave the two of them an ambiguous smile. "Actually, if we are talking about the atmosphere for dining, Embroidered Cloud Tower truly is the best. After the banquet, one can head straight back to the inn. As far as I know, quite a few little lovers have gone there together."
Only Du Huanzhen could say something like that. If Duan Changzai had said it, he would probably have been beaten to death.
