After Lin Wan got off work, she came over and they had another meal together. Then Zhao Xiaodao headed straight to the airport, while Deng Paopao and his wife also took their leave.

"Northern Myanmar is a lawless place beyond anyone's control. Even though several people died, other forces immediately filled the void. It might be chaotic for a while, but they won't let International Criminal Police and government agencies investigate at their leisure."
Lin Wan said, "If all they can do is search online and interrogate criminals left behind in various countries, what could they possibly uncover? So the countries and International Criminal Police only have a few guesses. They can't find out anything at all."
"There are even guesses?" Lu Zheng asked with a smile. "What guesses?"
"One is that their rivals spent money to hire mercenaries." Lin Wan said, "That was my original thought too. There are several highly capable mercenary groups in the world. They're very strong."
"The mercenaries introduced in the news don't seem like much to me."
"Truly formidable mercenary organizations would never make the news," Lin Wan said.

"Never heard of them."
Lin Wan shot him a glare. "Of course you haven't heard of them. But in the eyes of the authorities, these people are all top-tier dangerous elements. If they really made a move, they'd be far more destructive than terrorists."
