Stepping off the plane, Zhao Xiaodao lazily stretched. "The sunshine is so nice!"
Li Ying and the young assistant looked around eagerly, filled with curiosity.
"This place looks pretty modern. You really can't tell it's a poor African country?"
"After all, this is the first storefront for receiving international travelers," Lu Zheng said. "Forget the airport—even the coastal hotels and malls are at least above second-rate."
"But don't go deep into the city center without Lu Zheng and me," Lin Wan reminded them.
Li Ying nodded repeatedly. As an International Criminal Police officer, she knew all too well how terrifying the slums of those big cities could be.
"Come on, come on! Let's drop our luggage at the hotel first, then take a stroll along the beach," Lu Zheng said.
The group of five went to the hotel first. After putting down their luggage, they headed for the seaside.
With the sea breeze blowing over her, Zhao Xiaodao said, "The climate here feels even better than Europe's."
"Europe has a Mediterranean Sea climate. It's relatively more damp and cold, and its latitude is higher to begin with, so it really isn't as comfortable as here," Li Ying explained to Zhao Xiaodao.
There were even fewer Chinese people here than in Europe, which made Zhao Xiaodao relax even more.
