Not all the attractions in Hengdian World Studios were located within one unified scenic area; they were divided among several separate parks.
The largest park contained the Qin Palace, Along the River During the Qingming Festival, and Dream Valley. This was the original Hengdian World Studios.
However, Hengdian World Studios now also included scenic areas such as the Ming and Qing Residences Expo City, Long March Expo City, New Yuanming Gardens, Ming and Qing Palace Gardens, Hong Kong Street, and more.
From the Spring and Autumn and Warring States periods all the way to the modern Republican era, it had everything one could ask for. It was also the film studio with the most production crews, the most extras, the largest area, the most attractions, the most tourists, and the most celebrities.
The mortal-world scenes in Zhao Xiaodao's new drama were being filmed at the Qin Palace and Along the River During the Qingming Festival, so she took Lu Zheng and the others to tour this main park first.
Zhao Xiaodao had been filming in Hengdian for more than a year or two and was already thoroughly familiar with the layout, so she made quite a competent tour guide.

Some areas in these scenic parks were open for tourists to visit and explore, while others had been cordoned off because production crews were still filming inside.
Zhao Xiaodao shook her head. "There are far fewer costume dramas now than before. Most production crews are over at Republican City."
