Seeing Zhao Xiaodao suddenly space out, Lu Zheng had yet to react. "Do you have something to do this afternoon?"
"N-No, nothing!" Zhao Xiaodao blinked and stammered.
Lu Zheng thought for a moment, narrowing his eyes. "What are you thinking about? I got some new ingredients these past few days. Come home with me for dinner!"
"Oh, oh! Okay, okay!" Zhao Xiaodao could not help letting out a sigh of relief and nodded repeatedly.
No wonder her thoughts had wandered. If she had not known about Si Lingxi and the other two women, Zhao Xiaodao would definitely have gone home with Lu Zheng without hesitation. After all, she had eaten dishes personally cooked by Lu Zheng before—and been so nourished that she got a nosebleed.
