Chu Long looked up. "Teacher?"

"What's with that expression?" Deng Puhe raised an eyebrow as he stood in the doorway. "You look like you just witnessed an alien invasion."

"A little... a little troubled." Chu Long scratched his head.

Deng Puhe immediately entered and stood beside him to look at the screen. "Which problem?"

"It's not a problem." Chu Long dragged through the group messages with his mouse. "The students are arguing. I just finished grading the final exams, and a lot of students who failed posted their scores asking for leniency. Then a student who scored ninety-nine also asked for leniency, infuriating the others. They demanded to know, if he was so amazing, why he didn't go to the Former University of Science and Technology."

Deng Puhe laughed. "I'm not good at handling this sort of thing. Whenever my students argue in a group, I either pretend to be dead or enable group-wide muting."

Chu Long turned his head and stared at his teacher in astonishment.

He knew Teacher Deng wasn't good at handling student disputes. In fact, Teacher Deng only chatted with people he was close to. If the relationship was even slightly more distant, he simply wouldn't talk to them.

But that wasn't the point... Shouldn't the point be the question the students were using when they argued? What did "If you're so great, why don't you go to the Former University of Science and Technology?" mean?

Judging from Teacher Deng's expression, he didn't seem to think there was anything wrong with that question.

Chu Long suspected that he hadn't noticed it, so he deliberately put the section where the students repeatedly mocked one another by bringing up the Former University of Science and Technology on the screen. "Teacher, don't you think something is wrong?"

"Something wrong?"
