"What's wrong? Still looking half-dead?" Hachiman teased, tapping Komachi's head as if he didn't know the answer.
"Ah, Onii-chan, you're so annoying! I don't want to talk to you anymore."
Komachi turned away in a huff, her cheeks puffed out like a bun.
"Hahahaha!" Seeing Komachi pull an all-nighter catching up on homework the night before last and yesterday morning, Hachiman burst out laughing.
"Who told you to leave it so late? I reminded you so many times."
Yukino added to Komachi's misery.
"Wuuuuh, Yukino-neechan, you too? Komachi doesn't want to live anymore."
"Alright, stop fooling around. Hurry up and eat so we can go to school."
Hachiman said to Komachi, who was pretending to be dead on the table.
Komachi snorted and silently ate her breakfast.
"How's the new school?" Hachiman asked Rumi beside him.
"Mm, it's okay."
The little one replied indifferently.
"What do you mean 'okay'? Is it like before?" Hachiman asked with concern.
"...No... I'm just not used to it yet..." Rumi said a little shyly.
"Not used to what?"
"Erm... it's just that yesterday, two people suddenly came up to me and asked me what I liked."
The little one stammered.
"Is that so? Then I can rest assured."
Hachiman nodded, understanding the situation.
"Were they boys or girls?"
Hachiman asked out of the blue.
"Huh? They were both girls, why?"
Little Rumi answered, baffled.
Yukino rolled her eyes in exasperation at Hachiman's question.
"It's nothing, nothing. Eat up, or we'll be late."
Hachiman brushed it off casually.
After the four of them finished eating, they got into the car that used to pick up Yukino.
On the way, Komachi and Rumi got out of the car one after another.
Sigh, how many lifetimes will I have to work to afford a car like this? Ms. Masami Nakajima, who commuted to work by bicycle every day, thought as she watched Rumi gracefully step out of the luxury car.
"Good morning, Teacher!" Little Rumi greeted, then ran into the school gate with a patter. She grabbed the hands of two other girls who had been waiting at the school entrance for a long time, and they walked off, chatting and laughing.
"Let's go."
Hachiman waited until Rumi's figure disappeared from view before smilingly instructed the driver.
"You're relieved now?" Yukino asked softly, leaning against Hachiman.
"Aren't you worried?" Hachiman held Yukino's slender, white hand, her knuckles clearly defined.
"What's the use of worrying? The key is still with her."
Yukino traced patterns on Hachiman's palm with her fingertip.
Feeling the light tickle on his palm, Hachiman lowered his head to look at Yukino's pretty face.
Her face, fair and delicate with no trace of blemish, was tinged with a healthy blush. Her small cherry lips and delicate nose adorned it, and her slightly parted mouth revealed a few jade-like teeth.
Her long eyelashes fluttered slightly as her eyelids drooped, and her dark blue eyes were like a pool of spring water, calm, gentle, and deep.
Her slender neck and exquisite collarbones formed a breathtaking picture, and the faint hickeys that had not yet completely faded added a touch of decadent beauty.
"How have you been feeling lately?"
"Feeling what?" Yukino asked, confused.
"Does it hurt when it comes?" Hachiman whispered into Yukino's ear, his hot breath tickling her earlobe.
"Eek... Wh-why are you asking this?"
Yukino's face turned even redder.
"Just asking. Otherwise, how would I know if the two months I've spent helping you recuperate have been effective?"
Hachiman said righteously.
"It... it doesn't hurt anymore, but last time it still hurt a little."
Yuk
Komachi clutched her backside, eyes welling up, and asked Hachiman.
"What gives you the right to pick what we eat?" Hachiman glared, scaring Komachi into shrinking back, her ahoge drooping limply.
Komachi snorted, still holding her backside, and walked back to her room with her long, pale legs.
"Why are you treating her like that? If you want to eat something, just buy it for her."
Yukino defended Komachi, feeling it was unfair.
"You can't spoil this girl. If you're too nice, she'll get too full of herself."
Hachiman waved his hand, indicating there was no real harm done.
"Just you wait, she'll be out again in a bit."
Hachiman declared he understood his sister perfectly.
"Fine, you're right, okay?"
Yukino pouted.
"Heh heh."
Hachiman chuckled and pulled Yukino into his arms.
"What are you doing?"
Yukino gasped.
