Hyuga Kagami won the Chunin Exams and became entangled in Obito’s attempt to capture him and locate the Mizukage. After Karin and Gaara helped weaken Obito, Hyuga Kagami escaped Kamui and returned to the Aerial Fortress with Karin.

• Hyuga Kagami defeated Naruto and Deidara, won the Chunin Exams, and received Kakashi’s Bond Sword.
• Kakashi proposed a rapid-response squad and a fake God Organization, while Obito learned of Sasuke’s Mangekyō Sharingan and Kirin’s strength.
• Hyuga Kagami urged Itachi to train Sasuke, then advised Neji to pursue the Eight Inner Gates and gave him secret techniques.
• Obito attacked the Mizukage’s party, failed to capture the real Mizukage, and pursued Hyuga Kagami, who was traveling with Karin and Suigetsu.

Hyuga Kagami advanced his clone experiments as Akatsuki launched an assault on Kirigakure, where he and Kakashi confronted Obito. After Kakashi recognized Obito inside the Kamui dimension, Konoha learned of an imminent attack and sent a disguised squad to delay Akatsuki while civilians evacuated.

• Hyuga Kagami pursued a Yang Release clone by analyzing First Hokage Cells, while Itachi’s genjutsu exposed Sasuke’s overconfidence and Haku began teaching Naruto senjutsu.
• Obito and Zetsu moved Akatsuki’s plan forward, attacking the daimyo and sending ten thousand White Zetsu clones against Kirigakure as the villages prepared for war.
• Hyuga Kagami used the Giant Tenseigan’s chakra to produce a successful cell-fusion embryo, then headed for Kirigakure as Karatachi Yagura fought to hold back the White Zetsu army.
• Obito weakened and trapped Yagura, but Kakashi rescued him with the Flying Thunder God Technique before Hyuga Kagami arrived and cut through White Zetsu with Boil Release.

Nagato led Akatsuki’s assault on Konoha while Hyuga Kagami manipulated the Deva Path and used the Giant Tenseigan to capture the controlled Jinchuriki. The invasion culminated in Nagato and Otsutsuki Toneri fighting, as the returning shinobi gathered to witness Nagato gain the upper hand.

• Shisui’s disguised squad stalled Nagato’s forces, but Konan’s Explosive Tags and the controlled Six Paths of Pain drove them into a running battle that left Sasuke badly injured.
• Deidara unleashed C5 Fireworks, devastating the forest, while Shisui used Susanoo to protect Sasuke and Kimimaro and Haku treated the burned Deidara.
• Hyuga Kagami and Kakashi escaped Kamui’s space after Kakashi struck Obito, while Obito survived, had Madara’s Curse Mark removed, and was healed by a White Zetsu clone.
• Nagato’s forces attacked Konoha, and the Kage, Jiraiya, Shinichi, and other shinobi fought the Six Paths as the controlled Jinchuriki transformed and rampaged through the village.

Hyuga Kagami intervened in the battle against Nagato and Otsutsuki Toneri, then Nagato’s conflict with Obito exposed the secret behind his Rinnegan. The villages regrouped in Konoha, where Haku protected Kagami’s identity and the Hyuga learned that their Byakugan could evolve into the Tenseigan.

• Sasuke attacked Nagato with an Amaterasu-wrapped Susanoo arrow, but Limbo Clones shattered his Susanoo until Shisui protected him with the Yata Mirror.
• Nagato trapped Otsutsuki Toneri with Planetary Devastation, but Toneri broke free with meteors and fled to Konoha, where he stole Hiashi’s Byakugan before Neji drove him off.

• At Konoha Hospital, Haku recognized Kagami as Yama but concealed his identity from the questioning Kage and elders, and Kagami considered helping Sasuke pursue an Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan.
