After testing Impure World Reincarnation and arranging for Karin to assist him, he began the ritual and advanced into its second stage before running out of chakra.

  • Hyuga Kagami warned Sasuke not to let the Second Hokage’s prejudice turn him against Konoha, then returned to the village as Flame Demon and collected the Five Great Shinobi Villages’ payment.

Hyuga Kagami survived the failed ritual through Impure World Reincarnation, then entrusted his Tenseigan to Neji and prepared for another attempt. Neji joined Guy’s team against Akatsuki and Hyde’s Gelel Stone expedition, where Sasuke arrived just before Nagato entered the underground palace.

  • Hyuga Kagami opened the Gate of Death during his ritual, reached the Six Paths level, then destroyed the rampaging Demon Bud before collapsing.
