Hyuga Kagami became the Fifth Hokage while the Uchiha Clan prepared to rebel, and he built a Shadow Guard as he learned of the plot. The arc ended with Shisui, Shinichi, and Itachi revealing Fugaku’s plans to Kagami and warning that another force might target the Hyuga Clan.

• Hyuga Kagami helped Itachi and Shinichi survive the First Hokage Cell transplant, restoring their eyesight and granting them the Power of All Creation.
• Hyuga Kagami won the confidence vote and became the Fifth Hokage, while Fugaku and the Uchiha Clan left the ceremony in anger.

Hyuga Kagami used the Uchiha rebellion as bait to expose threats to Konoha while Akatsuki attacked the other villages’ Jinchuriki. After the village survived Satori’s assault but Nagato captured Naruto, Kagami tracked Hyuga Aoki to the Giant Tenseigan.

• Hyuga Kagami rejected Itachi and Shisui’s offer to stop the Uchiha rebellion early, then persuaded Konoha’s leaders to hire the God Organization to contain it.

Hyuga Kagami stopped Hyuga Aoki, rescued Naruto and helped Konoha contain the Uchiha rebellion while keeping his own ties to the God Organization in play. He secured Fugaku’s cooperation and Izanami, then pressed the Hyuga Main Branch to reveal what it knew about the Otsutsuki Clan.

• Hyuga Kagami severed Hyuga Aoki’s connection to the Giant Tenseigan, learned Aoki had deceived the Akatsuki, and sealed the weakened eye.
• Itachi persuaded Fugaku to surrender his Mangekyō Sharingan and end the Uchiha rebellion, while Konoha publicly blamed the clash on the God Organization.
• Hyuga Kagami traveled to Akatsuki’s base and helped Kakashi rescue Naruto, while Killer B escaped and Nagato withdrew with Obito.
