Sasuke gained Mount Myoboku’s summoning contract, while Neji bonded with Hyuga Kagami’s giant boar and joined the rivalry between their classmates. As Hyuga Kagami investigated the Caged Bird Seal, Hyuga Aoki seized control of the clan’s hidden Giant Tenseigan and launched an attack in Konoha.

• Sasuke summoned Gamabunta and became Mount Myoboku’s sole chosen summoner, leaving Neji disappointed until Hyuga Kagami gave him a giant boar as his summoned beast.
• Naruto, Sasuke, and Neji fought a reckless battle with their summons, and Hyuga Kagami and the other adults stopped the fight before the creatures could cause further damage.
• Hyuga Aoki defied a Main Branch elder, endured the Caged Bird Seal’s punishment, and later told Hizashi that he had accepted his fate rather than beg for mercy.
• Hyuga Kagami tested his revised Yin Seal while Karin’s transplanted Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan recovered rapidly, and he prepared her as a possible vessel for creating the Rinnegan.
• Hyuga Kagami sensed a hidden Giant Tenseigan connected to the Caged Bird Seal, while Hyuga Aoki used it to take control of the curse and summon puppets remotely.

Hyuga Kagami exposed Mizuki’s conspiracy, rescued Hizashi from Otsutsuki Toneri, and developed biological armor to stabilize Karin’s Rinnegan fusion. Karin recovered enough to leave the operating room, while Neji returned from his victory over Sasuke to find the Hyuga Clan worried about Hizashi.

• Hyuga Kagami exposed Mizuki’s plot to frame him, and Mizuki confessed to spying for Orochimaru before dying by suicide.
• Hiashi sent Hizashi to meet Otsutsuki Toneri, who demanded the Hyuga Clan’s Tenseigan and attacked Hizashi and his attendants.
• Hyuga Kagami rescued Hizashi and fought Toneri’s mechanical puppet, then sent the injured Hizashi back toward Konoha while Deidara engaged Toneri.
• Hyuga Kagami examined Karin’s recovered Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan and began fusing them, but realized her body could not safely withstand the Rinnegan without further support.
• Hyuga Kagami created Type-One Bio-Armor from his Yin Release cells and First Hokage cells, then fitted it onto Karin to stabilize the fusion.

Hyuga Kagami exposed the Uchiha Clan’s growing challenge to Konoha’s leadership while preparing Shinichi to return to the village and advancing his Bio-Armor plans. The Fifth Hokage election began with four candidates, and the Land of Fire’s daimyo arrived as Naruto, Sasuke, and Neji each resolved to pursue the position someday.

• Hyuga Aoki traded Akatsuki information about the God Organization for a powerful puppet, then escaped Uchiha Shinichi before Shinichi was confronted by Obito and rescued by Fugaku’s forces.
• Hyuga Kagami promised Shinichi that he would prepare to revive Yui within three years, learned Akatsuki was gathering intelligence on several Jinchuriki, and named Shinichi the God Organization’s Flame Demon.
• Hyuga Kagami subdued Uchiha Shinji during a public confrontation, and Fugaku sent Shinichi to retrieve him, where Shinichi knocked Shinji unconscious and carried him away without escalating the dispute.
• Fugaku demanded a formal Fifth Hokage election, and the Third Hokage accepted Uchiha candidates and combat matches before nominating Kakashi.
• Hyuga Kagami agreed to run after Kakashi offered him fifty million, and he was named the fourth candidate alongside Fugaku, Shisui, and Kakashi.

• Hyuga Kagami defeated Shisui with his Tenseigan-empowered crows, but Fugaku awakened Susanoo and Amaterasu to defeat Kakashi, prompting the Third Hokage to suspend the election.
• The Third Hokage proposed a confidence vote instead of a final match, and Hyuga Kagami accepted the Fifth Hokage candidacy for one hundred million while refusing to manage the village’s daily affairs or defense.
• Hyuga Kagami left for his Aerial Fortress to develop Karin’s Type-Two Bio-Armor, while Itachi disguised himself as Kagami and campaigned for support among the clans.
