The moment Kagami stopped, Itachi and Izumi stopped as well.
"Kagami."
Seeing Kagami's resolute expression, Itachi seemed to understand.
Itachi looked at Izumi.
"Izumi, you go first."
Izumi spoke in confusion.
"Huh? Then what about you, Itachi? And Kagami? What will you do?"
Itachi smiled faintly.
"I have to stay behind and look after him."
Meanwhile, after killing Jūzō Biwa, the Fourth Mizukage chased after Kagami and the others. However, he had not gone far before he saw Kagami stop of his own accord.

Under Obito's control, the Fourth Mizukage stopped, raised his head, opened his mouth, and began gathering a Tailed Beast Bomb.
Knowing that Kagami intended to use a Mangekyō Dōjutsu, Obito cautiously decided to probe him with a Tailed Beast Bomb first.
Obito knew very well how powerful the Mangekyō's abilities were. Charging straight at Kagami, who had activated the Mangekyō, would be extremely unwise. Attacking from a distance with a Tailed Beast Bomb, however, was much better. In Obito's view, at worst, he would only lose one Tailed Beast Bomb. It was no great loss.

Obito laughed sinisterly.
"If your Mangekyō ability is impressive, then kill you at all costs—"
Before Obito could finish speaking, Kagami vanished from the Fourth Mizukage's field of vision using the Body Flicker Technique.
