Itachi was born on June 9, Konoha Year 43. He became an Anbu shinobi while still young and was five years older than Sasuke and Kagami. By the time Kagami entered the Academy, Itachi was already regarded as a pivotal figure in the escalating crisis between Konoha and the Uchiha clan. 3 4

Alongside Shisui, Itachi sought to prevent open conflict between Konoha and the Uchiha. He feared that Kagami's pessimism about the clan's future meant a confrontation had become inevitable, and he vowed not to let the conflict reach that point. 6

Fugaku presented Itachi with the possibility of a “Bloodless Revolution,” asking him to aid the clan in taking control of Konoha.
