Lin Yan had run through at least twenty dungeons and had a decent level of skill and awareness. He glanced at An Xinghe and whispered, "I'm going to grab a tongue. Don't make a sound."

With that, Lin Yan leaped straight out of the bushes, a massive cleaver appearing in his hand—one of his weapons, a common-grade Nine-Ringed Saber.

The Hunter was startled but quickly recovered, sidestepping to dodge.

The two clashed, and An Xinghe couldn't be bothered to help, watching from the sidelines in silence.

The Hunter was strong. At first, they were evenly matched, but gradually Lin Yan began to tire.

Seizing the opportunity, the Hunter found a flaw in Lin Yan's defense and thrust a dagger toward his throat.

Lin Yan cursed under his breath—he couldn't dodge this one!

Just then, a giant pair of Scissors swept in from the side, knocking the Hunter's dagger away!

Who else but An Xinghe?

He followed up with a kick, sending the Hunter sprawling to the ground.

Lin Yan, heart pounding, looked at An Xinghe. "Th... thank you."

But An Xinghe pointed at the Hunter on the ground and barked at Lin Yan, "Thank my ass! Go finish him off!"

"Oh, right, on it!"

Lin Yan pulled out a rope and tied up the Hunter, who wore a defiant expression. "Do your worst! Kill me or cut me up, I don't care!"

Lin Yan coughed twice. "Actually, I don't plan to kill you. I just want to ask you a couple of questions."

"Pfft! Get lost! Don't expect a single word of info out of me!"

Lin Yan, stung by the Hunter's retort, felt his pride wounded and threatened, "Don't refuse a toast only to drink a forfeit! If you don't answer properly, don't blame me for making you suffer!"

The Hunter sneered. "Bring it on! You won't get a single useful word out of me! If I say one thing, I'm not a real man!"

Furious, Lin Yan kicked the Hunter in the stomach, sending him flying five meters.

But the Hunter just mocked, "That all you got? Go home and drink some more milk!"

Lin Yan moved to hit him again, but An Xinghe stopped him. "How about I give it a try?"

Lin Yan snorted. "No one can make him talk. He just won't say a thing!"

An Xinghe stepped past Lin Yan and approached the Hunter. Before he even reached him, the Hunter spoke up. "Handsome Young Brother, go ahead. What do you want to know? I'll tell you everything."

Lin Yan: "???"

"What's most disgusting is that she used her status as princess to capture people and experiment on them with Dark Magic."

"Every single one of them had their blood turn white. That's how she got the name White Blood Princess!"

"The King had no choice but to exile her."

"But that bitch, that son of a whore, fled to the Dwarf Kingdom and used Dark Magic to become their queen!"

"Then she led the dwarves in a full-scale invasion of our kingdom!"

"I'm heading out to assassinate that bitch! I'll rip out her heart and her tongue!"

The bio-smoke seeped into their bodies. Their eyes went vacant, their skin turned green, and their flesh began to rot.

They looked just like a bunch of goblins! It even reminded An Xinghe of those lecherous books he'd seen about goblins and female knights.

Which naturally led his thoughts to Demon-Slaying Ninjas.

Seeing this, Lin Yan roared in fury:

"An Xinghe! You turned them into bio-monsters?! Now it'll be even harder to get through!"

An Xinghe shot him a look:

"Follow me."

He leaped out from hiding and walked straight toward the Bio Dwarves.

What stunned Lin Yan was that these Bio Dwarves didn't attack An Xinghe—instead, they... knelt before him??
