Ancient Ruins · Babakabo.

This was a barren grassland filled with strange rocks. From the enormous statues of supernatural beasts, it was clear that Babakabo had once been glorious. But it belonged to the previous civilization, which had lost to the Zerg.

The buildings within the ancient ruins had all weathered into piles of rubble. The terrain was relatively flat, and the only structure left was the enormous altar at the center of the ruins.

Due to shifts in the crust, the altar had sunk severely, nearly level with the ground. Its iconic structures had weathered away long ago. From a distance, it looked like one vast stretch of stone slabs.

The altar was the center of the ancient ruins. On it, nearly a hundred contractors were either standing or sitting. Some had gathered in groups of three or five to play cards, while others were maintaining precision equipment.

A World Core the size of a walnut floated more than a meter above the ground. Countless patterns of light shrouded it and slowly converged. Once the patterns of light completely covered the World Core, the World Coordinate would form.

"172 hours left. That lunatic from Reincarnation Paradise still isn't dead? Once he dies, we won't have to keep watch here."

A contractor lay bored on the stone slab, his hands pillowing his head and a blade of grass hanging from his mouth.

"You don't have to risk your life. What more do you want?"

"Did you hear? People from Death Paradise were attacked. Eight of them died."

"Hopefully that lunatic won't come this way."

"The occasional insect tide and beast tide aren't easy to deal with either. The more complete the World Coordinate becomes, the more hostile the surrounding beasts and Zerg will be toward us."
