On Blazing Sun Star, in the newly established Twilight City, our main camp was located within the city's high walls. Even so, the high wall directly ahead had already collapsed. Relying on the super-large barrier formed by the surrounding walls, a frontal breach had appeared.
This was intentionally left by the barrier experts of Paradise of Sanctuary. Compared with an iron-turtle-like defense, leaving the enemy an opening and drawing their fire was undoubtedly the better choice.
When it came to barrier systems, Paradise of Sanctuary was unquestionably number one. In the distance, enormous fireballs trailing thick orange-red tails flew over. Each was a hundred meters across, filled with highly compressed, high-temperature liquid.
Boom!
Deep orange-red flames erupted across the semicircular barrier, burning an energy-devouring reaction into its surface. Fortunately, the barrier remained sturdy.
Compared with the barrier's strength, Paradise of Sanctuary's frontal defense looked far less promising. The peak powerhouse of the Hymn system, Samanja, could absolutely be called the strongest peak powerhouse on Paradise of Sanctuary's side. As a member of the Hymn system, unless her opponent was also at the peak rank, the arrival of death was something that could be delayed or reversed in Hymn—Samanja's eyes. Of course, the death had to be sufficiently fresh, and the body relatively intact.
Put simply, as long as she was already present before death arrived, the person had died within the last half hour, and more than twenty percent of their body remained, Hymn—Samanja could resurrect them.
This seemingly unreasonable resurrection ability was not actually that mystical once its principles were explained. Hymn—Samanja possessed an enormous invisible peak domain, large enough to cover two-thirds of Blazing Sun Star. The domain was formless and invisible, and had only one function: fixing marks.
All allied targets within the Hymn Mark's range were
