Marvin Waltz, looking somewhat weak, let out a huge sneeze. He rubbed his nose and wondered, "Who's badmouthing me behind my back? Still, that sneeze felt pretty damn good."
Marvin Waltz moved his body. He could feel that both this temporary body cultivated through technological means and his remnant soul were nearing their limits. The growing sensation of his soul cracking apart did not anger or frighten him. That was simply the kind of person he was. Though sometimes unreliable and carefree, he believed everyone had their own destiny—including himself. This time, however, he had chosen to defy fate.
"I finally found you, but how am I supposed to take you back? And what was that thing that drifted through the endless chaos just now? It looked half-humanoid. Poor bastard. No one can save you, though it seems you've already stopped thinking on your own."
Marvin Waltz glanced beyond the transparent boundary wall in the distance. Behind that translucent membrane lay endless chaos, a region even the Abyss at its peak could never spread into.
The stronger one became, and the more one learned about the Astral Realm, the Abyss, and the elements, the more one discovered the vastness of the world. Even after reaching the highest peak, one would still find it interesting, because marvelous changes were always taking place between the Abyss and chaos.
