Russell fought the Blood Clan with Gwen, Tony, and S.H.I.E.L.D., then explored magic and the multiverse while helping Gwen reconnect with her family. After Russell’s attempt to alter events failed to prevent a crisis around Ghost-Spider, Miguel O'Hara arrived to question him about disturbances in the Web of Destiny.

• Russell met the Ancient One, hired Gwen to manage his reading room, and helped her care for Eileen after a vampire attack.
• Russell and Gwen alerted Tony Stark and S.H.I.E.L.D. to Deacon Frost’s ritual, then joined the battle against the Blood Clan as the Ancient One confronted the Blood God.
• Russell asked the Ancient One for the energy she had diverted, while Gwen reunited with Helen and Little Gwen at George Stacy’s Halloween party.
• The Ancient One taught Russell and Tony to use Sling Rings, then helped Russell and Gwen travel to Universe 1610, where Russell aided the Spider-Men against Kingpin’s Dimensional Collider.
• Russell trained with the Ancient One, used an imitation Time Stone to investigate a future crisis, and killed Wilson Grant Fisk and Matt Murdock after discovering their crimes.
• Russell gave Gwen a Spider Mark and asked the Ancient One to cast a memory spell, but Kingpin’s death still led to a gang war and Ghost-Spider being surrounded by police.
• Miguel O'Hara arrived through a scarlet Portal, and Russell told him the disturbance involved the Web of Destiny before asking about the Spider-Society and Multiversal Spacetime View.

Russell saved Tony from Mephisto, recovered souls and compensation, and warned S.H.I.E.L.D. about Hydra while building ties with Matt, Gwen, and Wanda. He then joined the Ancient One in Asgard, where Frost Giants interrupted Thor’s coronation and Loki began considering Russell as a potential ally.

• Russell and the Ancient One helped Tony defeat Mephisto, then negotiated the return of Tony’s family’s souls and Hope van Dyne’s soul along with two billion units of energy.
• Russell warned Coulson about S.H.I.E.L.D.’s conduct, helped Matt Murdock oppose The Hand, and gave Matt a BB Pager for emergencies.
• The Ancient One invited Russell to Asgard for Thor’s coronation, while Tony joined the Avengers as a special S.H.I.E.L.D. consultant.
• Russell taught mages at Kamar-Taj, helped Gwen open a Portal, and brought Wanda and Pietro from Hydra’s pursuit to study under Master Ancient One.
• Russell and the Ancient One arrived in Asgard, where Frost Giants interrupted Thor’s coronation while trying to steal the Casket of Ancient Winters.
• At an Asgardian banquet, Russell outdrank Thor and delayed Loki’s plan to provoke an attack on Jotunheim, then learned Loki was considering recruiting him.

Russell rescued Matt’s soul and destroyed The Hand’s Beast before turning against the Sakura Island Gods for their dealings with Primitive Demon Beasts. He shattered the pantheon’s realms, saved the island’s people from the resulting disaster, and returned to Kamar-Taj, where Wanda asked to speak with him.

• Russell rescued Matt’s soul from Beast’s Dimension, defeated Beast’s avatar, and froze a tsunami before it reached Sakura Island’s crowded coast.
• Russell refused Nick Fury’s offer to cover up the destruction and agreed to let the Avengers accompany him against the Sakura Island Pantheon.
• Russell met Spider-UK, Spider-Man Noir, Peni Parker, and Spider-Ham, then arranged an ambush against the Inheritors and left them BB Pagers.
• Russell accused the Sakura Island Gods of trading human souls with Primitive Demon Beasts, then destroyed their shrine and killed Takehaya Susanoo-no-Mikoto.
• Russell blasted through Takama-ga-hara’s barrier and destroyed the realm, killing Amaterasu Ōmikami, while Ancient One moved people into the Mirror Dimension for protection.
• Tsukuyomi-no-Mikoto redirected Russell’s attack into Sakura Island, which sank into the Mariana Trench as Russell absorbed the waves’ energy to prevent further tsunamis.
• Russell shattered the Land of Night, confirmed Tsukuyomi-no-Mikoto’s death, and froze the sea into a glacier for Sakura Island’s people.
• Russell returned to Kamar-Taj and rested before Wanda found him and asked to speak with him.

Russell manipulated the Inheritors into gathering, defeated the Blood God, and reclaimed several souls from Mephisto’s hell so Matt and the resurrected families could regain their bodies. The arc ended with Russell and Loki reaching Morag to pursue the Orb before Thanos could reach Earth.

• Russell arranged for White-Bearded Ancient One to recover Wanda and Pietro’s parents’ souls, then drew Morlun into leading the Inheritors toward him.
• Russell and his allies fought Solus and the Blood God, while Tony copied the Inheritors’ cloning research from their laboratory.
• The Blood God empowered the Inheritors and attacked Russell, but Russell defeated it inside the Sun and absorbed its energy.
• Russell, White-Bearded Ancient One, and Bald Ancient One retrieved Helen’s and Wanda and Pietro’s parents’ souls from Mephisto’s hell.
• Tony and Russell used the Inheritors’ technology to restore Matt’s body, then reconstructed Helen, Oleg, and Irina.
• Sif told Russell that Thanos had allied with Ronan and that the Orb was on Morag, so Loki volunteered to guide Russell there.
• Loki traveled to Morag by spacecraft, and Russell joined him after Heimdall relayed his arrival.
